Enjoy Your Coffee Without Destroying Your Brain!

Enjoy Your Coffee Without Destroying Your Brain!

Cade and Regan Archibald discuss how we can enjoy our morning cup of joe without going overboard. The average American consumes three cups of coffee a day; this overstimulation means that they are more prone to stress and adrenal fatigue. Regan explains how coffee affects your adrenals and how much coffee you should consume, and when, to get the most out of your caffeine experience while still maintaining your health.

    Key Takeaways:
[2:45] Regan’s goal is to help make people more health-independent.
[5:00] The bean roasting process can sometimes create cancerous agents.
    [5:40] How was coffee discovered?
[8:10] Regan doesn’t recommend drinking three cups of coffee a day. Once your adrenals are healthy, he recommends a cup to a cup-and-a-half a day.
[10:15] Do you need coffee to wake up in the morning? That’s not a good sign. Coffee should be looked at like medicine.
[11:05] There are side effects if you consume too much coffee.
[11:25] What do the effects of caffeine have on the human body?
[15:25] Caffeine increases your cortisol, which will exhaust your adrenals over time.
[17:45] Depending on how fast your metabolism is, Regan recommends at what time of the day you should stop drinking coffee.
[20:15] Did you know you can get some caffeine in your system just by smelling coffee?
    [22:50] What is a nootropic?
[25:00] Cade has experienced better mental clarity when he uses nootropics.
    [27:25] What is Semax?
    [33:50] What is Selank?
    [39:20] What is RG3 synapsin?
[48:05] Remember, caffeine and coffee is a medicine.

    A Cure to End ALS

    A Cure to End ALS

Warren Osborn was diagnosed with ALS on May 10 of 2018. The news was shocking as it was believed he only had about a year left to live. Taking the ALS disease into his own hands, Warren decided to explore his options and try stem cell treatments. He has gone out of the U.S. to try these very experimental treatments and it seems to be working. After a year and a half into his journey, he has beaten the statistical odds of survival. Find out more about his story.

    Key Takeaways:
[:45] Warren shares a bit about his journey with ALS.
[1:55] Warren was shocked to know that there are only two treatments for ALS, one that prolongs your life for two months and one that prolongs your life for three.
[3:50] With only given a year or so to live, what made Warren want to fight this instead of just accepting his diagnosis?
[6:25] Warren had lost between 20-30% of his upper body strength when he was diagnosed, but after stem cell treatment, he has regained all of his lost strength.
[8:15] Warren went to China to do fetal stem cell treatments. What was that like?
[11:15] Warren is lucky because his body has been very receptive to the stem cell treatments, but not everyone in the clinical trial is doing as well.
[14:05] What causes or is triggering ALS?
[20:25] What kind of food diet is Warren doing?
