Thank you so much for this podcast. It is so inspiring and full of so much information, for aspiring government contractors. I stumbled across this show about two weeks ago and have been on a binge ever since. I have been registered with Sam.gov since 2020, and even involved with my local PTAC, but because of all the confusing, overwhelming information, I left the idea of winning contracts alone for a while now. I am a full time entrepreneur, single mom to a college student, and I am also a college student myself. Listening to this podcast (while working, cooking, getting ready for the day) has inspired me to add government contracting back on my to-do list. I find myself learning so much and becoming very familiar with the terminology used in the industry. I love listening to the guests, hearing their stories, and even the questions that the listeners pose. Eric does a wonderful job as a host too. He keeps it real, entertaining, and adds a lot of value to the industry as a whole. This free resource is a blessing. I look forward to growing and blossoming with you all.

I learn a lot form Eric. I was even able to set up a meeting with Molly Mayhew here in Oklahoma City due to the interview he did with her. Luckily Molly gave the name of her company and I was able to find a phone number for her. I’ll continue to listen to Eric daily and hope to grow my Gov Con business through Eric and his guest’s guidance, tips and tricks of the trade. Thank you Eric and Gov Con!

Eric is a dynamic host with a ton of first hand experience who brings an awesome mix of guests and topics. Some of the biggest experts in govcon share their secrets, but Eric also finds folks that otherwise listeners would never meet, like Ryan Atencio, who is right in the thick of contracting with the 75th Ranger Battalion at Fort Bragg. I loved the July 28 episode where Ryan gets really specific and practical about to make it easy for government buyers to choose you. Love this show!

I started my company back in 2012 but never truly got it off the ground until 2019. I’ve still not bid on a contract but I feel I’m ready. Eric through these podcast and YouTube videos has single handedly educated me on government contracts, getting my SDVOSB, helping me to understand not to pursue getting an 8a certification until my company is ready to completely benefit from the program...and much more. If you are a new business wanting to get into government contracting opportunities and don’t know acronyms like SAM, SBA, 8a, DSBS, VBOC, OSDBU, FBO/Beta SAM and so many more then listen to these podcasts. Don’t feel bad because I didn’t know either but listening forced me to research and get familiar. I’ve even reached out to a former guest and she was very helpful and willing to assist. I could go on and on but TRUST ME! Just listen😁

I have listened to many many podcast and audiobooks and I must say, hands down this is one of my favorite! It’s my go to while working out in the gym at 5 a.m. Eric is in the process of changing my life and he doesn’t even know it. I’m so impressed with ALL of the guest on the show because they are relatable and so honest about the good and the bad of GovCon and business in general (thank you Maria).
