    Across the country; in NC, lawmakers passed House Bill 307 (“Iryna’s Law”) restricting cashless bail, mandating electronic monitoring, and seeking to reinstate the death penalty. In TX, a sniper opened fire at a Dallas ICE field office as IL and OR see riots at ICE facilities. In LA, a statewide 911 outage left emergency services disrupted. In OR, President Trump announced the deployment of U.S. troops and federal agents to Portland. In VA, Defense Secretary Hegseth ordered all U.S. generals and admirals to gather at Quantico. In NY, the Secret Service dismantled a clandestine telecom network near the U.N. Assembly. On a national level, ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live after remarks about the Charlie Kirk assassination, with Sinclair and Nexstar  initially refusing to air his show after apparent political pressure by Trump Admin. Google said it will reinstate YouTube accounts banned under COVID and election rules after admitting to prior Biden administration pressure. YouTube agreed to a $24.5M settlement with Trump, following earlier settlements with Meta and X. Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted for false statements and obstruction tied to the Russia Hoax. The FBI acknowledged 274 agents at the January 6th riot, with new reports citing confusion, lack of training, and political bias claims. The House Oversight Committee released 8,000 documents from the Epstein estate, naming prominent individuals. President Trump announced a 100% tariff on branded pharmaceuticals starting October 1st.     SORD: Q3 Update 13 - DOJ backs NRA in NJ, OH blocks local gun bans, TX bans trans bathrooms, AQAP threats, Tylenol/Pregnancy, Antifa labeled Terrorists, FBI looks at Hand Gestures at TPUSA event.

    BLUF: Across the country - In CA, a lawsuit challenged concealed carry permit fees that can reach $2,000. In NJ, the DOJ supported an NRA-backed case against the state’s ban on commonly owned firearms and standard-capacity magazines. In IL, Cook County looks to push for commonly owned weapon ban challenge at the Supreme Court. In LA, the FPC and SAF filed a brief in Reese v. ATF seeking nationwide relief after the federal handgun sales ban for 18–20-year-olds was struck down. In MN, Governor Tim Walz launched his third-term campaign centered on bans for what he calls assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, background checks, and red-flag laws. In OH, a judge ruled state law preempted Columbus from enforcing firearm storage and magazine restrictions. In NC, a veto override vote on permitless carry stalled and was sent back to committee. In TX, Governor Abbott signed a law requiring bathroom use by biological sex in schools, government buildings, prisons, and shelters, with fines up to $125,000 for violations. Nationally - The Attorney General said hate speech targeting would be directed at threats of violence and the Deputy Attorney suggested investigations into protest groups. President Trump announced and then formally designated Antifa as a terrorist organization, ordering federal agencies to disrupt and dismantle their operations and investigate funding streams. The Southern Poverty Law Center released a case study labeling Turning Point USA a hard-right organization while adding them to their “hate map”. The National Counterterrorism Center warned that al Qaeda and AQAP remain threats, urging officials to limit exposure and highlighting risks to crowded venues. The FBI said its investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination is ongoing and is now looking at conspiracy theories such as shooting location, other involved, hand gestures, and more. NRA, ASA, and allies challenged federal suppressor registration requirements as unconstitutional under Bruen.     SORD: Q3 Update 12 - Kirk Killing Investigation, Terrorist Events, Civil Unrest, 20+ Instagram & X banned, Republicans block Epstein Docs, Microsoft/IBM/Nvidia work with China, Bombing of Fox News.

    Across the country an illegal immigrant supporter attempted to ram law enforcement during a traffic stop involving Border Patrol in ME. In WA, LGBT and pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted a Christian rally, while in OR, Antifa targeted an ICE facility. In DC, pro-Palestinian soldiers disrupted a Senate hearing, protests escalated against National Guard deployment, the White House Peace Vigil was dismantled and restored, Codepink disrupted a cabinet dinner, and students staged anti-Trump demonstrations. In PR, activists protested outside a U.S. Air Base. In GA, a judge dismissed RICO charges against Cop City far-left extremists. In IL, protesters blocked access to an ICE facility. In UT, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated by the boyfriend of a transgender, we’ll provide the latest updates in that investigation. Also, in UT, LGBT and socialist activists rallied at the Capitol, and a trans militia group deactivated; later, an explosive device was discovered under a Fox News affiliate media vehicle in Salt Lake City. In NC, UNC’s campus was vandalized with pro-Palestinian graffiti. In ID, a fight broke out at a Kirk vigil leading to arrests. In AZ, a man was arrested for vandalizing a Kirk memorial and a public memorial was scheduled for 70,000 attendees. In TN, the National Guard is set to deploy to Memphis to combat crime. In NY, police issued threat alerts during Trump’s 9/11 appearance at Yankee Stadium. Data also showed that CA, PA, FL, NY, TX, TN, and OH experienced increased attacks against Christian churches in 2024, part of a broader pattern recorded across 43 states. On a national level, conservative movement momentum surged after Kirk’s assassination, with millions of new social media followers and tens of thousands of new TPUSA chapter requests nationwide. Several NFL teams declined to honor Kirk, and teachers and doctors glorified is killing. The FTC warned Big Tech not to adopt EU content moderation standards in the U.S. Starlink experienced a nationwide outage. A Senate amendment requiring the DOJ to release Epstein documents failed after Republicans voted it down. The State Department warned foreign visa holders who praised Kirk’s killing that they could face revocation. An AP investigation revealed that U.S. tech companies supplied hardware and services to China’s surveillance systems used to target minorities. Outside the U.S., Nepal’s social media ban sparked violent protests, resulting in dozens killed, hundreds injured, and the prime minister’s resignation followed by an overthrow of the Government.
