    187. Rebecca Hessel Cohen, Founder of LoveShackFancy, Shares the Story of Her Iconic Brand

Today's guest is Love Shack Fancy Founder, Rebecca Hessel Cohen.

Rebecca has built an ultra-feminine empire with her lifestyle brand full of florals, bows, and lace. As a former fashion editor, Rebecca honed her style and aesthetic before designing her signature 'Love Dress' which was created for her bridesmaids in 2010. This style dress would then become the foundation for the LoveShackFancy brand which launched 3 years later (in 2013) and the beginning of the global business which now includes 17 stores and wholesale partnerships with nearly every major retailer.

Rebecca and LoveShackFancy just celebrated its 10-year anniversary and continues to grow at a rapid rate with numerous successful partnerships and collaborations under its belt, including Gap, Pottery Barn, Bogner, American Girl, Larroude and more. It continues to expand categories, growing from its foundation in ready-to-wear to a full lifestyle brand with LoveShackFancy beauty launching this past September.

    186. Houston-based Interior Designer, Katie Davis on Scaling Katie Davis Design, Growing Her Business, and What Success Looks Like to Her

    186. Houston-based Interior Designer, Katie Davis on Scaling Katie Davis Design, Growing Her Business, and What Success Looks Like to Her

Katie Davis is a Houston-based interior designer focused on all aspects of residential design. She takes a practical approach to her work, emphasizing the idea that a home should be truly lived in above all else. Her portfolio is filled with stylish spaces that nod to a new-traditional aesthetic while maintaining a sense of modernity and an eye for today’s trends.
Katie’s appreciation for design started from a young age, when her family undertook a major remodel of the home. She observed her mom and an interior designer work together to develop, coordinate, and implement a shared vision for her family’s home—an imaginative and collaborative process that still resonates with her today. And so began her love affair with beautiful spaces, and quality furniture, fabrics, and materials.
Life, however, took Katie in a different direction. Upon graduating from the University of Texas, she went on to attend law school. During her years as a practicing attorney, design remained a favorite hobby, until she fully embraced her second life, and her first love, launching Katie Davis Design in 2018.
She currently resides in Houston, with her husband and two young kids. Her own growing family serves as the foundation for her designs, creating beautiful, vibrant living spaces that are comfortable, timeless, and can transition easily to the next phase of a client’s life. Katie Davis Design has been published in numerous publications including Southern Living, House Beautiful, Luxe Interiors + Design, Domino, This Old House, Modern Luxury Interiors Texas, Houston Chronicle, Real Simple, and Homes & Gardens.

    185. BIOLYTE's CEO, Jesslyn Rollins, on the Importance of Perseverance in Entrepenurship, Leading a Multi Million Dollar Company and Working In The Family Business

    185. BIOLYTE's CEO, Jesslyn Rollins, on the Importance of Perseverance in Entrepenurship, Leading a Multi Million Dollar Company and Working In The Family Business

Today's guest is BIOLYTE CEO, Jesslyn Rollins.
Biolyte was invented by Jesslyn's father as an "IV in a bottle". Thirteen years ago, he realized hydration drinks are not effective for severe dehydration. Jesslyn's mom was battling breast cancer and she couldn't keep up with her chemo treatments without getting IV bags because she was so dehydrated.
BIOLYTE was created and now provides the medical benefits of an IV bag to many, helping them feel better no matter what they are facing. Jesslyn is leading the company with over $22 million in revenue and drinks in 20000 locations. From sales to marketing plans, Jesslyn has done it all!
We know listeners will love hearing her story!
