International House of… Cruelty? IHOP’s dirty little secret

Years ago, IHOP promised that by 2020, it would eliminate the cruel confinement of mother pigs in gestation crates from its pork supply chain. But the company broke that promise. IHOP has also promised to stop using eggs from chickens confined in tiny cages switch to 100% cage-free eggs but has barely made any progress whatsoever. We talk to our expert about this campaign to stop IHOP’s cruelty and ask that you join us.

One very nice rabbit is trying to end cosmetics testing on animals. You can help him.

One very nice rabbit is trying to end cosmetics testing on animals. You can help him.

Animal testing for cosmetics is an ugly business. Join the incredible cast from our new short film, "Save Ralph," Taika Waititi, Ricky Gervais, Zac Efron, Olivia Munn, Tricia Helfer, and Pom Klementieff in taking action to end cosmetics cruelty. Around the world, many thousands of animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and mice suffer needlessly to test products like lipstick and shampoo, even though producing cruelty-free beauty products is safe and simple. It's time to end cosmetics cruelty—forever.

Defending the wild: Trophy hunting threatens majestic species

Defending the wild: Trophy hunting threatens majestic species

Wisconsin’s recent wolf hunt was, from start to finish, an example of the worst wildlife management practices. These gorgeous animals today occupy only 15 percent of their historic range in this country: they are far from recovered, and in no state to withstand more carnage, in Wisconsin or anywhere else they call home.

Remote learning: Teaching vet students and caring for animals in rural communities

Each year, six RAVS staff members and more than 350 volunteers provide essential veterinary care for more than 7,000 animals, all at no cost to the clients or communities we serve. In addition, the program provides valuable training and experience for hundreds of future veterinary professionals that goes far beyond anything they could learn in a classroom alone.

Informative and funny

I knew I’d learn a lot with this podcast but I didn’t think it would be so funny! More jokes at the very end of each episode, puhleez! Learning about HSUS’s investigations was heavy and I thank that team for doing such difficult and important work.
