I Hate Bill Maher

I would say I really love Will Weldon’s personality and insights and I like how thoroughly they go through Maher’s shows (and I will be joining the Patreon as well) but man, if there’s a bad guest on the show, it DRAGS. Likewise, if there’s a really great guest, I never want it to end.

First time listening to the show. Came upon it by googling the question do a lot of people now hate bill Maher. The answer was a resounding yes and it led me to this pod. Maher has managed to get hate from both the right and the left while the center no longer even cares what he says. Love the premise of the show, but having a guest on who has barely heard of bill maher and doing a whole show with her is really a stupid idea. I know you tried to save it by saying oh it’s so great to get a take from someone with almost no familiarity with the subject, but face it, it’s like taking health advice from kid rock and RFK jr. if she knew she was going to be on a show with the actual name bill Maher in the title, it’s quite lazy to show up completely unprepared to talk about the main character WHOS IN THE NAME OF THE SHOW! I will give it a few more listens in the hopes that the guest is at lest familiarity with the topic

The more I listen to this podcast , the more I hate Bill Maher, and the more I hate him, the more I enjoy listening to the podcast. What can I say! It’s a POSITIVE feedback…loop (get it? Lol)

First and foremost, happy New Year Will Weldon! I’m among that large number of people that came here from a Bit Fruity (such a great episode). Having now listened to your entire body of work, I need to say: My gods have you distilled everything I began to feel was wrong with Bill Maher a decade ago into words and articulate how much rage I feel that people treat Bill Maher as a serious person.
