History of Westeros (Game of Thrones)

HoW is an outstanding listen for anyone who is a fan of Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon. While show hosts Aziz and Ashaya go into great detail fleshing out character and plot theories and intrigues, you don't have to have read Fire & Blood or The World of Ice and Fire to love the show and enjoy the multiple webs of Martin's world-building. The show mixes it up with guests who are equally entertaining (Nina is delightful!) and knowledgeable about George RR Martin's writings, but again, they explain enough to keep their multi-leveled audience interested. Although GRRM works do tend to be dark and twisty, the show has enough humor to keep things revving. HoW will be nerding-out over the soon to be released "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" series, which will air on HBO starting on January 18. I can't wait for it to get started!

I just heard the episode on Giants from 2022. Every time I hear GoT/ASOIAF podcasts, I can’t believe how much I missed in my reading of the books! Beautiful deep diving, I love it, can’t wait to hear more.

This scratches my itch for ASOIF especially when I’m not in the middle of a rewatch of any of the series on HBO. So well studied and entertaining. Their reading voices are really good addition 10/10 listen to this show

I really wanted to listen but the host sounds like he’s constantly yelling and has the most irritating way of speaking.
