    Fish Tank Beer

Welcome in, craft beer friends. Greg finds out that a gummy, a couple beers, and a few hours staring at the water can apparently fix a bad week. Flex says he could do the same thing with deer. Listener Steve sends in an oyster stout story that finally finds Flex’s limit, because bull-testicle beer is fine but seafood is where we draw the line. And a Florida man gets pulled over with 34 open White Claws in the passenger seat, which sends us straight into old drinking stories and some truly terrible decisions. Beers We're Drinking: Flex is drinking Citra on the Dock of the Bay from Eagle Park Brewing, an 8% all-Citra New England IPA that gets five daddies.Greg is drinking Thou$ands of Money from Pure Project, a 7.1% murky IPA packed with tropical fruit that lands just under the usual Pure Project greatness for him. Greg spends a few hours sitting on a tiny dock with some beer and a gummy and decides staring at water is pretty great. Apparently Flex’s version of this is watching deer run around, so welcome to Hippie Corner. Listener Steve sends in an oyster stout that tasted like the water from a pet-store goldfish bag, and we finally find a gross beer Flex won’t drink. Elephant poop? Fine. Bull testicles? Sure. Oysters? Absolutely not. Greg threatens to send him one anyway. Then we get into old road soda techniques, including Greg hiding beer in a McDonald’s cup and keeping the straw because you have to sell the disguise. That rolls into Bud Platinum, flavored Smirnoff, raspberry vodka, and Flex learning the hard way that matching someone else’s three-second pull from a vodka bottle is a terrible way to figure out your tolerance. Bad Beer, Great Wi-Fi

Welcome in, craft beer friends. Greg is back at his mid-grade hotel because apparently reliable Wi-Fi requires personal sacrifice, while 14 Cannons trades brewing equipment for pool tables and inspires a questionable business plan involving billiards and strippers. The final gross beer origin story brings vaginal bacteria into the brewery, which immediately gives "from the tap" a whole new meaning. Then Greg and Flex remember the pungent glory of BOD body spray before imagining Belgian cops going full Scrooge McDuck with $10 million in brewery gold. Beers We're Drinking: Flex is drinking Bitrate Fluctuation from Equilibrium Brewery and WeldWerks, an 8.5% double IPA that's six months old, dangerously drinkable, and good enough to earn a four-pack commitment.Greg is drinking 7th Inning Stretch from Trademark Brewing, a 7% West Coast IPA that's light, dry, easy-drinking, and hiding peel-off baseball card stickers on the can. Greg continues the world's worst camping trip, choosing the same mid-grade hotel every recording night strictly because the Wi-Fi doesn't suck. Then comes the apparent transformation of 14 Cannons, where brewing equipment made way for pool tables and Flex learns his instinct to keep beer at a brewery is apparently why he'll never be a businessman. Scott's gross origin story series reaches its grand finale with a Polish beer made using cultured vaginal bacteria, prompting immediate questions about sourcing, board meetings, and drinking it "from the tap." That jogs loose memories of BOD body spray. The $10 million brewery gold discovery also has Greg and Flex picturing cops swimming through the evidence like Scrooge McDuck, while a Delaware driver's revenge on a pub earns the simple strategy of, "You kick me out, I kick you in." Flex is ready to start a Super Troopers podcast after watching the second movie. There’s a trip to an over-the-top tiki bar, new Bourbon County desserts, and a 160-year-old booze cruise found stocked full of Guinness. Beers We’re Drinking: Flex is drinking Shredneck DDH Double IPA from Drekker Brewing, a juicy double IPA loaded with citrus.Greg is drinking Dictionary Roulette, a Hazy IPA from Brewery X that turns into an unexpected can-by-can experiment. Flex finally watched *Super Troopers 2* and is ready to give up craft beer and turn this into a *Super Troopers* podcast, right meow! A new podcast review from a listener gets a little attention, and Greg and Flex get into gross beer origin stories with a smoky mushroom offering from Jester King. The Hemporer’s New Beer

Hey, craft beer friends! Flex willingly returns to the scene of a beer-related trauma and finds out that watermelon can apparently succeed where strawberry tasted like vomit. Greg gets stuck with a four-pack of ten-month-old hazy IPA, we discover Flex believes pizza should be dipped in more pizza sauce, and a drunk guy removing his clothes in an Ohio street brings back the story of Greg face-planting onto a bed fully dressed after his bachelor party. Beers We’re Drinking: Greg is drinking El Segundo Brewing Company’s Burn Off, a hazy IPA with classic West Coast hops.Flex is drinking WeldWerks Brewing Company’s Watermelon Cotton Candy Sour Ale, a fruit-forward sour that completely redeems a previous cotton candy beer disaster. North Charleston becomes our newest top listening city, which is good news for South Carolina’s reputation as a state where people probably do not get eaten. Poop-Beer Gate continues with a New Belgium hemp pale ale so aggressively skunky that the draft line had to be replaced, while Flex remembers drinking a Heineken and searching his backyard for the smell. His watermelon cotton candy sour initially triggers the same gag reflex as its strawberry predecessor, then earns a perfect score and plans for four meals a day. Greg and Flex also discover they are fundamentally incompatible on pizza sauce, ranch, pants, and whether sleeping in shoes is ever acceptable. Greg has done it, although he briefly misunderstood why his future wife was removing them. Greg's relaxing morning on the lake ends with a boat parked in the dock a little harder than intended after the battery gives up at exactly the wrong time. Flex discovers his daughters are officially old enough to appreciate the magic of fourth meal after a concert, and the guys spend far too much time deciding whether bug beer or poop beer is the less offensive beverage. Poop Beer Gate returns with a barrel-aged stout that belongs on rice, Vanessa explains how Alaska breweries track every ounce you drink, and Flex reveals that wedding dancing usually ends with most of his clothes missing. Greg also protects his marriage with a raspberry sour, Costco beer fans prepare for a goodbye, and a trip to DUI probation goes exactly as well as you’d expect. Vanessa calls in with Alaska’s strict 36-ounce brewery limit, including bartenders who remember your face even after you leave and try another seat. Poop Beer Gate returns when a listener spends $20 on a barrel-aged stout that tastes like straight soy sauce, prompting an important detour into sushi ginger etiquette. Later, Greg saves his gluten-intolerant sister from pre-gaming a wedding with mini Fireball bottles, while Flex explains that his own wedding routine involves dancing until the jacket, vest, and possibly the shirt are gone. Greg escapes the heat with beers, food, and the dogs on the patio at Malibu Brewing, while Flex comes back from his birthday road trip with a stop at Modist Brewing, plenty of craft beer at Target Field, and a waterfall judged by whether jumping off it would kill you. The Mall of America log ride also leaves Flex with a very adult souvenir, leading to a discussion about the surprising number of ways a person can get a hemorrhoid.
