The Nerd Nest - A Video Game Podcast

The Nerd Nest podcast falls within my lineup of 5 video games podcasts that I listen to regularly. I particularly enjoy this podcast because it strikes a different beat than many of the other podcasts out there in my opinion. Bill and friends often discuss topics that get minimized or completely left out of other gaming related podcasts. I love hearing about the more niche topics they get into on the Nerd Nest podcast.

I started listening to this podcast because I was a fan of Bill’s YouTube output, but it’s becoming a harder listen for me. Bill frequently gets things wrong, Cary goes on tangent after tangent, and Russ ultimately has nothing that interesting to add to the conversation.

Podcast is great, love the 4 of y’all but the recent episode with just Bill and Rudy made realize this podcast is better as a two person conversation. Bill, I know Russ is the cash cow but I’d consider keeping it just you and Rudy if he’s more reliable. Seems like every other week someone’s missing and most of the time it’s Russ. I’d miss Russ, Karrie, and Rich but what I wouldn’t miss is y’all talking over each other, Russ struggling to get a word in cause of his delay or whatever. Either way, I will continue to listen and look forward to a new episode each time it drops. Much love guys, peace.

This podcast is a must-listen for gamers. It offers insightful perspectives on gaming without the distraction of obnoxious hosts, politics, or crude humor. The content is packed with excellent game recommendations, both new and old. In addition to thoughtful industry commentary, they provide valuable hardware reviews, making it a great resource for discovering hidden gaming gems. Keep up the fantastic work! UPDATE: Games, for me, are an escape from the obnoxious political opinions we see everywhere in entertainment. I have seen political opinion creep into this podcast recently and I don’t love it. Still worth a listen, but I’d prefer if they stick strictly to game insights.
