I’ve listened to every episode, but I’m just over them. 1) James is a contrarian toward Jimmie. No matter what Jimmie says, even when he is making the exact same point, James has to say, “No, it’s not so much that but….”. You know what a contrarian is. He’s just oppositional and annoying. Yes, I’m aware there are threads on discussion boards about how the guys love each other and that’s just the relationship they have and James would defend Jimmie with his life, blah, blah…So understand this. I’m not questioning their friendship or feeling sorry for Jimmie. I’m pointing out a character flaw James has. It’s a personality defect to be such a damn contrarian.
2) They make disgusting breathing noises knowing full well they are recording a podcast with highly sensitive mics. Jimmie laughs so hard that all we can hear for a few seconds is the clicking noises in his throat. James has a habit of aggressively sucking in air through his nose right before delivering his next line.
3) We can already tell by your behavior and the abyss behind your eyes, James. You don’t have to announce you are Godless and soulless. This, and when you hint at politics, of which you have about the same comprehension level as a 2nd grader, is off-putting.
4) James spends about 1/4 of the show educating Jimmie and the audience about things he obviously knows nothing about. “This was how they did things back in the 70s,”….”In Louisiana they do things this way..”.
Again, I’ve listened to every episode. I saw you live in Dallas. I can not fathom how anyone classifies either of you as a comedian. Of course, when you did stand-up you didn’t achieve any level of success.
For the last year I’ve only listened out of habit and because your show puts me to sleep. But I’ve realized being lulled to sleep isn’t worth gagging at your throat and snorting noises.
