Thank you for talking about this. I remember seeing Dobson’s books growing up. My parents listened to him on the radio. I remember listening in one time and Dobson was talking with another man about a girl who was really upset about something legitimate. They were mimicking her in a very whiny voice and laughing at her pain and suffering. Even as a child I knew this man was bad.

This is the podcast I want my therapist to listen to, the podcast I also sometimes ask my partner and friends to listen to… the podcast my DNA donors (can’t really call them parents) could listen to if they wanted to understand why we cannot be in touch. The content can be heavy but it’s insightful, well-researched, and thoughtfully communicated. This pod is part of an array of resources I’m using to make sense of my origins and learn/communicate what I need to seek out to further my own healing—this includes acknowledgements of neurodivergence and gender expression diversity

Just want to thank you for the excellent podcast and especially for bringing my attention to the “rapture ready” website. That site has provided me and my family a priceless bonding experience as together we read, laugh uncontrollably, then use reason and logic to debunk the ridiculous content within. Cheers!

Thank goodness for these two gems. I'm usually the first person at work, with friends, family etc to notice harmful patterns and systems. My neurodivergence helps with this. It can be lonely waiting for others to catch on or losing relationships in the process. This space is so validating. It feels really good knowing that their are others using their voices to disrupt and create lasting change. So much love and appreciation for you!
