275 | How to Improve Your Customer Journey with Jordan Kentris, A Good Day

Are your marketing & sales efforts focused on customer acquisition or customer retention? This quarter inside of Proof to Product LABS, we’ve been focused on sales strategies with an eye towards customer retention.  Meaning, how do we get our existing customers to buy more frequently and in higher volume; and how do we get them to refer their friends?
In October, I led a training on customer retention that included some eye opening statistics about why it is so incredibly important to focus on keeping our existing customers happy and I shared specific strategies for how to nurture those relationships.
Today’s podcast episode folds nicely into this discussion topic—we pulled an excerpt from a past coffee chat inside of LABS with Jordan Kentris of A Good Day where we talked about enhancing our online customer experience and the steps a customer takes as they interact with us online.
Today’s episode is brought to you by our Proof to Product LABS program. We hope you enjoyed this peek into one of our most popular Coffee Chats inside of Proof to Product LABS. Coffee chats in general are some of our best attended events because members get to share their knowledge, experiences and expertise with each other. Plus, we leave time for live Q&A, connection and collaboration. At Proof to Product, we truly believe that the more we share with one another the faster our individual businesses will grow—and these events are a piece of that. If you want to learn more about Proof to Product LABS, check out the full coffee chat with Jordan, or watch the trainings we mentioned by Myrna and Jessica head to prooftoproduct.com/labs.

My favorite podcast!!

I absolutely LOVE Katie and the Proof to Product Podcast. Katie provides so much valuable advice, and brings in relevant experts as guests. I take notes while listening , apply her recommended strategies, and in turn see solid growth in my business. Thank you Katie and the Proof to Product team for making such a solid resource for small businesses.

One of the best podcasts for small businesses

I’ve been an active listener and follower of Katie’s podcast. This is great podcast for small business owners trying to grow and scale up their business. Whether you’re interested in doing wholesale or direct to consumer/dtc. There’s so much to learn and great to hear other small businesses and experts. Also, I love that the segments are typically 40 mins or less. So not a full a hour. It’s a great to listen to while driving or doing work. Listening to the podcast helped my decision to join Katie’s LABS program which strengthen and was a great accountability group as my business grew. It’s completely full circle now being a listener and now being interviewed for a podcast episode with Katie.

It’s like your favorite shop, but for your ears

This podcast is like your favorite shop. You go there a billion times and you always find something you didn’t know you needed. It doesn’t matter if you’re shopping for something new, need some inspo, or maybe just restocking, you will find both comfort and value. Seriously, doesn’t matter what stage of business you’re in, there’s something for you, even if it’s just listening about someone’s journey.

Whenever I’m vending at Markets, at least one person stops to ask me about how to get started, or how to move into wholesale, or how to do xyz, and my answer is ALWAYS “start with the Proof to Product Podcast by Katie Hunt! Then see if her other programs are a good fit you you.” Not only will you probably learn something, she’s a good interviewer (we all know those folks who aren’t), and her voice is like a soothing hot beverage of your choice.

Plus you can pick the topics which suit you, and there are loads to listen to, but I encourage folks to give ones you may not lean towards a listen too because there’s always some sort of gem in there.
