Most people have heard of the Book of Mormon, but very few actually know what it is, what it says, or why millions of people love it so deeply. In each episode, Russell Brunson — a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an obsessive book collector (25,000+ volumes and counting, including multiple first editions of the Book of Mormon) — opens up the pages to share what he's learning, the stories behind the rare editions in his collection, and the "secrets" he's finding inside the most important book he owns.

Welcome to Book of Mormon Secrets

This is Book of Mormon Secrets, a new show about the greatest book ever written. My name is Russell Brunson. I'm an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm also a book nerd (with 25,000 books and counting) and this channel is where I get to talk about the one that matters most to me. In 2016 I purchased a first-edition Book of Mormon and shared it with my young family (I'll show you everything too). It's the most important book in my library and I continue to study from it regularly, as well as investing in both greater personal knowledge from LDS artifacts and history. This is meant for everyone, including my friends of every faith. Often when I'm talking with people of multiple religious backgrounds, each person has a story about what the Book of Mormon is and where it comes from (which I'll be clarifying step-by-step), but nobody realizes why it's so critical and key to learning about and becoming like the Savior of mankind, Jesus Christ. Now, I'm not an official representative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint. I'm just someone who's passionate about The Book of Mormon and the message it carries about Jesus Christ, his life, his doctrine, his atonement and resurrection and the promise this gives to everyone of hope, joy and mercy. Tell me in the comments where you're from and what you believe. I'll read them them all! ▶ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bookofmormonsecrets The Book of Mormon can be found for free by searching "book of Mormon free copy" CHAPTERS 0:00 - Welcome to Book of Mormon Secrets 0:23 - Why this channel exists (and who it's for) 2:08 - A book nerd building a museum 3:28 - The missionary story: a $50,000 first edition 4:51 - 2016: buying my first first edition (Snapchat footage) 6:07 - Showing the kids 8:11 - Reading from the first edition 8:51 - Why it mattered: making the book special again 9:20 - Parley P. I love the Book of Mormon, and the commentary makes it so much more engaging. Thank you for putting this together, very generous of you, given how busy you are.
