There’s a reason the History Channel has produced hundreds of documentaries about Hitler but only a few about Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bad guys (and gals) are eternally fascinating. Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives. Listeners will learn about the young adult novels that helped Hitler form his monstrous ideology, the founder of Blackwater’s insane quest to build his own Air Force, the bizarre lives of the sons and daughters of dictators and Saddam Hussein’s side career as a trashy romance novelist.

Speak up, slow down.

Excellent informative entertaining podcast but the host needs to slow down at times because when he talks so fast he tends to speak very quietly.

Seriously?

concept of the show is good, if only Robert Evans would stop comparing whatever horrible historical figure he's talking about to conservatives. Most of his attacks are not even true and terribly dishonest (Ben Shapiro is a Nazi, Mike Pence equates homosexuality with pedophilia), and yeah... there are two whole episodes about Ted Cruz... I mean, seriously?
And let's not forget the obnoxious cohosts who add nothing substantive, and all the needless swearing.
The Mark Zuckerberg episodes were pretty entertaining though.

Too much chatter

A good podcast has 90% solid content. This one has good content but far too much chaff. Tighten things up and I’ll be back.
