Addendum - Missing Pieces

In season two of Framed, we attempted to piece together exactly what happened in the Buddhist Temple Massacre at Wat Promkunaram. The end result of our research efforts produced, what we hope, is the clearest picture of what happened to the nine victims of Arizona's deadliest mass shooting. In spite of our efforts, there were still a few questions we were unable to answer in Season 2. So, the Framed Team kept digging, looking for those missing puzzle pieces. And, what we found has the potential to change the narrative that surrounds this case. This Story has some Eerie similarities of a Group of Young Kids here in My Hometown, Back in the 90’s Kids used the Term “ Posse” , which translates to “ Crew/Boys “ by today’s slang , The kids here called themselves the DownTown Posse , and like these kids in this story had a apartment they hung out in ,and hung out downtown doing small crimes and panhandling for change to get drugs / alcohol , up until they devised a plan to Rob strangers and people they knew by the end of it 6/7 peoples ended of dead , all were caught , 2 of the leaders ended up with Death Sentences male/ female the male has already been executed by the State of Ohio , The female hasn’t met her fate yet , This situation took place about the same time as this Story.. Both story’s are a testament of the Violence kids of the 90’s could find themselves in , like these kids it was only a matter of days before the cops tracked them down and charged them all with crimes .. The media labeled The crime Xmas Time killings or something like that .. RIp to the victims in this story as well as the victims from here , ❣️❣️❤️❤️🕊️🕊️🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Too much police interview tapes. Lost track of the who and the what. The point of journalism is to take this information and consolidate it to tell a clear and interesting story. Missed the mark on this one.

I preferred season 1 better. Too many moving parts to keep track of in this season. I agree with many commenters about the voice actors although I think season 2 did better than season 1 in regards to the voice actors. Hopefully the host looks at reviews in order to improve.
Nicely journalistic, but why fake recordings?

I really have a problem when what’s presented as if actual recordings are integrated into the report, but they are simulated, read by actors and filtered to sound like a phone conversation or a live interview in a room. It would be nice for the host to say at least once per episode that these are recreations. Readings of edited transcripts mixed by sound editors. It is understandableb the producers want to save the time and money it would take to sat and process actual recordings, but other podcasts do not have this same level of artificiality. So on the one hand, I would want them to do a better job and at least make these phony recordings sound a bit more realistic to maintain believability and reliability. But on the other hand if they do make it totally realistic, why need it to be “true” at all? These are becoming more and more of a “reality” show. So what are we really listening to? True crime is so popular and profitable that there are not enough true stories out there to go around. I have often heard the same crimes profiled on several podcasts. Go online and listen to radio shows from the 1950s to hear the same paradigm being played out. Actual recordings of real events and people in crime situations, dramas derived from actual cases- like Dragnet- or simply out and out fiction. What I object to is the intentional blurring of boundaries between all of these things in order to satiate the addicted listener. Like the contemporary journalistic scene, truthiness is entertainment, and most entertainment is low brow.
