What up sis! June is Men's Mental Health Month, and I’ve teamed up with @ThePrismWay to spotlight the powerful stories of men who have been incarcerated and are now rebuilding their lives. This series dives into their healing journeys, and in this episode, you’ll meet two of the three co-founders, who are incredible women, along with my dear friend Cindy, who introduced me to this amazing family.
At The Prism Way, they passionately work to restore the full civil and human rights of justice-impacted individuals. They believe deeply in the inherent worth of every person and the potential for everyone to lead a meaningful life aligned with social, emotional, and spiritual values—especially when given the right resources.

Xenia's story begins in Russia, with the loving memories of her mother as an only child and discovering at the age 13 she had another sibling, a sister from her father. She shares the moment she took a loan out to buy a camera and everything changed -her camera became her tool to meet people. Xenia found her community, how to not people please, her passion for capturing intimacy, discovering a new family and the beauty of it forgiveness. Kesley was first diagnosed with breast cancer, BRCA 1 runs deep in their family and 11 months after Kesley healed, Blythe was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. They share their cancer journey, how to cold cap (keeping your hair during treatment), the power of your mindset, how to escape the chemotherapy cloud, the gift of receiving support and the importance of self advocacy.
