Praise God (Part One) | Pastor Alvin Love

What happens when we praise God? In this message, Praise God (Part One), Pastor Alvin Love explores what Scripture teaches about praise and why it is much more than a response to good moments. Walking through Psalm 91, Psalm 22, and several Hebrew words used throughout Scripture, we see that praise is a choice—and that our lives can look different when praise becomes part of how we respond to God no matter the circumstance. Learn how praise shifts our focus toward who God is and helps us intentionally honor Him with our words, our bodies, our music, and our lives. Scripture references: Psalm 91:2–16 Psalm 22:3 Psalm 35:18 — Halal Psalm 138:1 — Yadah Psalm 103:1 — Barak/Baruch Psalm 150:3–5 — Zamar Psalm 63:3–4 — Shabach Psalm 34:1 — Tehillah Psalm 50:23 — Towdah Subscribe to our channel to see more messages from Nashville Life Church: https://www.youtube.com/@nashvillelifechurch   ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. Don't Forget to Remember | CeCe Love

What happens when we stop noticing everything God has already done? In this message, Don't Forget to Remember, Pastor CeCe teaches that our greatest problem is rarely that God hasn't done enough, it's that we've forgotten what he already has. Walking through Psalms 103, Deuteronomy 8, and the story of the three Hebrew boys in Daniel, she reminds us that "gratitude keeps you humble" and that it has to become a daily discipline, trained and practiced, especially in the middle of the storm. Prosperity can make us forget just as easily as adversity drives us to him. Learn why "your diagnosis isn't your whole life" and how remembering what God has already done positions your heart to expect him to move again. Scripture references: Psalms 103:1-5 Deuteronomy 8:11-18 2 Chronicles 26:5, 16 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Acts 27:35 Philippians 4:6-9 John 6:11 Daniel 3:15-18 Hebrews 11 Subscribe to our channel to see more messages from Nashville Life Church: https://www.youtube.com/@nashvillelifechurch   ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. The Difference Between PRAYING TO GOD and PRAYING FROM GOD | Alvin Love III

Is it possible to pray every day and still miss what God is actually saying? This week, Pastor Alvin closes out our "Wait on the Lord" series with a message titled "Intimate with God." Drawing from 1 Corinthians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 14:14, and Romans 8:26, he reminds us that Christianity is spiritual by nature, and real intimacy with God requires more than our natural understanding. There has to be a conversion, a shift from praying our will to praying His. Using Peter's rebuke of Jesus in Matthew 16 as a picture, Pastor Alvin shows how soulish prayers, ones rooted in emotion, understanding, or willpower, can sound faithful and still miss what God is actually doing. This message challenges us to move past praying to God and into praying from Him, trading our need to understand for the deeper intimacy of being led by His Spirit (Romans 8:14-15). How close are you to God? And how much are you willing to let Him lead? Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 2:14 1 Corinthians 14:14 Romans 8:26 Matthew 16:21-24 Romans 8:14-15 Subscribe to our channel to see more messages from Nashville Life Church: https://www.youtube.com/@nashvillelifechurch   ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. Being Near God Isn't the Same as Knowing Him | Alvin Love III

Is being near God the same as actually knowing Him? This week, Pastor Alvin closes out our 21 Days of Prayer series with a message titled "God In Us." Drawing from Romans 5:10 and Acts 2:17, he reminds us that God's desire has always been communion with us, not just His presence beside us, but His Spirit inside us. Using the picture of a server tending to a table, Pastor Alvin shows how waiting on the Lord isn't passive. It's active investment, learning the heart and priorities of Jesus through prayer, prophecy, and healing. This message challenges us to move past a "God with us" faith and into the deeper intimacy of "God in us." As we invest instead of coast, our desires start to align with His. And that's when day 22 stops looking like a finish line and starts looking like a starting line. How close are you to God? And how much of Him is actually in you? Scripture references: Romans 5:10 Acts 2:17 1 Corinthians 14:4, 6 Mark 16:17-18 2 Corinthians 5:20 Isaiah 40:31 Subscribe to our channel to see more messages from Nashville Life Church: https://www.youtube.com/@nashvillelifechurch   ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders.
