What If Your Health Is Your Revenue Strategy

Send us Fan Mail We lay out a four-pillar blueprint that explains why high achievers can look successful on paper while feeling stuck, drained, or scattered in real life. We connect leadership, business, brand, and body and spirit into one practical system you can measure, strengthen, and apply right away.  • the four pillars framework and why misalignment breaks progress  • leadership as self-leadership and showing up consistently  • business thinking for entrepreneurs and W-2 professionals through value creation  • growth through discomfort and why control can limit experience  • brand as trust built over time and consistency as the core signal  • body and spirit as energy, longevity, and a chosen value system  • the “jungle” problem of day-to-day minutiae and lifting your head up  • working backwards from the life you want instead of chasing validation  • measuring key metrics and building discipline through applied knowledge  you can set a call with me, you can go on my website, edwards.consulting, and just book a call. Let's have a conversation. Let's learn about what your goals are and see if I can assist you, or I'll point you in the right direction where I can. Stop Filling Your Calendar And Start Moving The Needle (5 Min Friday)

Send us Fan Mail You can grind from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., stack your calendar with meetings, and still end the day with zero dollars to show for it. That’s why I’m drawing a sharp line between being busy and actually building, because this difference quietly destroys businesses that look “productive” on the surface. Busyness is motion. Building is momentum. I talk through the mindset trap that makes busyness feel safe and rewarding, even when it doesn’t move the needle. Then I give you a practical filter you can use immediately: ask better questions about every commitment. Is this activity creating leverage, freeing time, or producing an asset that compounds? Or is it just keeping you occupied? This is also where your zone of genius matters. When you spend your best hours on low-value tasks and unnecessary meetings, you give away the very work only you can do. To make it stick, I share a visual I love from my trip to the Amazon rainforest in Peru. When you’re under the trees, you can’t see far, so you keep pushing forward and hope you’re headed somewhere good. The real advantage is lifting your head up, looking around, and evaluating direction so you can make a small adjustment before you waste weeks. Your takeaway is simple: identify one building task you’ll implement this week, then track the change it creates. If this hits home, subscribe for more short, practical business advice, share this with a friend who’s drowning in meetings, and leave a review so more builders can find the show. What’s the one building task you’re choosing this week? Your Brain Predicts Reality Before You Notice

Send us Fan Mail We sit down with Carrie Tan and Dr. Andreas Rahorso to unpack how “micro moments” turn split-second thoughts into decisions that shape leadership, relationships, and results. We challenge the idea that we see reality as it is, then share practical ways to spot the mental scripts that quietly hijack our choices.  • why most of us run on unconscious reaction rather than conscious intention  • the mind as weather forecasting rather than weather reporting  • how Carrie and Andreas decided to write a book after two meetings  • the “politician” example as a fast bias trigger that can make people disengage  • predictive hallucination and why the brain fills in blanks  • how silence on text and remote work can create damaging stories  • a real-world values conflict scenario and how identity scripts escalate risk  • how AI can reinforce confirmation bias and spark leadership conflict  • common workplace micro moments around underappreciation, micromanaging, and delegation  • the OPIJ model: Observation, Perception, Interpretation, Judgment  They can visit our website. From Specialist To Founder Without Burning Out (5 Min Friday)

Send us Fan Mail “Lazy” is one of the fastest labels we slap on ourselves when we feel stuck, behind, or scattered and it is often the wrong diagnosis. We unpack a sharper explanation: you might be a specialist playing in the wrong game. When your career rewards depth, clear roles, and mastery, you can thrive by going all in on a single skill set. That is how many of us grow, whether it is cybersecurity or any other focused craft. Then we decide to start a business and suddenly the rules change. Entrepreneurship pushes you into generalist mode. Now you are responsible for sales, marketing, fulfillment, operations, and managing people or tools, sometimes all at once. If that shift makes you feel disorganized or “unmotivated,” it does not mean you lack discipline. It often means you are experiencing context switching, new-skill discomfort, and the messy learning curve that comes with building a startup or small business from scratch. We also get practical about what to do next: stop trying to make everything perfect. The perfect content, the perfect offer, the perfect plan can quietly become a reason to never ship. The move is to send it out imperfect, get real feedback, and improve in public. That loop is how you build confidence, sharpen your message, and create traction without burning out. If this helped you reframe your mindset, subscribe for more, share it with a friend who needs the push, and leave a review. What is one thing you are going to ship today? How Top Sellers Rebound From Rejection Fast

Send us Fan Mail Most salespeople quit at the exact moment they are about to win, and we break down the mindset traps that cause it. We lay out a simple path to mental fortitude in sales using identity, realistic expectations around rejection, and daily disciplines that build confidence.  • patterns that sabotage performance after rejection and after a great week  • the “you versus you” problem when nobody is watching  • fear of rejection, fear of failure, and imposter syndrome as learned traps  • building a sales identity and stepping into it on demand  • setting expectations so “no” stops crushing momentum  • treating rejection as a numbers game that leads to skill growth  • iterating fast instead of quitting when it gets hard  • building confidence through follow-through and self-trust  • using lead generation feeders and referral frameworks  • measuring and monitoring dials, calls, and outcomes with a long-term view  If you want help with this, reach out to me at jordan@edwards.consulting That's my email.  There's no.com, no nothing.  It's Jordan@edwards.consulting  I'd love to have a conversation with you.  And if you want to check out my website, it's edwards.consulting, and you can book a call on there.  To Reach Jordan: Email: Jordan@Edwards.Consulting Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ejFXH1_BjdnxG4J8u93Zw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jordan.edwards.7503 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jordanfedwards/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jordanedwards5/ Hope you find value in this. 5 Minute Friday: You Can Start Over Later Than You Think

Send us Fan Mail “Is it too late for me?” is one of the most common questions I hear, and it usually shows up quietly when we’re alone with our thoughts. If you’ve been weighing a career change, a fitness goal, a move, or a big personal reset, this quick Five Minute Friday is built to cut through the mental noise and give you a clean next step forward.  I share proof that late starts are real starts, using stories like David Goggins and Ray Kroc to challenge the idea that you missed your window. We also talk about the belief that growth stops as you get older, and why that belief is often the real barrier, not your age.  Then we land on a practical mindset shift you can use today: stop measuring your life against other people and measure it against yesterday’s you. That one change makes progress measurable, reduces shame, and turns personal growth into something you can actually repeat. You’ll hear concrete reminders that you can change your career, your body, your location, and your beliefs, no matter what decade you’re in.  If this hits home, subscribe, share it with someone who needs the push, and leave a review. Then send me your biggest takeaway and what you’re ready to break through on. Winning Stops Being About You When Life Hits

Send us Fan Mail We talk with Dylan Crane about how a life-altering family crisis rewired his definition of winning from personal success to helping other people rise. We dig into the habits that let him move fast across sports and business: reps, skill mastery, coachability, and standards that hold up under pressure.  • redefining success as other people’s wins  • why practice matters more than talent  • building endurance for discomfort and struggle  • compressing time through massive volume  • mastering skills through review and feedback  • choosing opportunities by finding the industry lifeblood  • perfectionism in golf versus averages in business  • identity shifts from athlete to leader and provider  • why speed reduces resistance and increases learning  • a five-pillar self-audit on mental health, fitness, service, relationships, and spirituality  How to Reach Dylan Crane: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theinsuranceathlete/?hl=en Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@Theinsuranceathlete Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@theinsuranceathlete To Reach Jordan: Email: Jordan@Edwards.Consulting Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ejFXH1_BjdnxG4J8u93Zw Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jordan.edwards.7503 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jordanfedwards/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jordanedwards5/ Hope you find value in this. How 75 Hard Helped Me Rebuild My Life

Send us Fan Mail You can work for years toward the “perfect” job and still feel like you hit rock bottom the moment you arrive. That whiplash is brutal, especially for driven people who were taught that the next milestone will finally make everything click. We talk about what it feels like to realize you’ve been aspiring toward something you don’t even want and why that moment can be the most honest turning point of your life. From there, we get specific about the catalyst that helped us rebuild: the 75 Hard challenge. Two 45-minute workouts each day, one outside, a gallon of water, no alcohol, clean eating, ten pages of personal development reading, and a daily photo. The real payoff isn’t a new title or a different company. It’s a new standard. Discipline becomes a way to prove what you’re capable of, expand your mindset, and stop accepting a life that looks “successful” but feels wrong. We also zoom out beyond career change and focus on redefining the whole foundation: mental health, physical health, relationships, spirituality, community service, and philanthropy. If you’ve been thinking “I just need a new job,” this conversation offers a sharper question: what if you need a new direction and a higher bar for yourself? If this hits home, subscribe, share this with a friend who’s stuck, and leave a review. Then send us your biggest takeaway and tell us what one small step you’re starting next.
