When You Feel Like You Don’t Belong, Remember This

Have you ever wondered whether someone like you really belongs with God?   Isaiah 56 offers a beautiful answer: there really is room for you. In today’s 5-minute Christian devotional, we meet a God who gathers people who thought they were outsiders and welcomes them into his presence. Isaiah 56:6–8 reminds us that we do not have to make ourselves impressive enough, religious enough, or good enough to earn a place. And when we discover how generously God has welcomed us, we can begin making room for people who may feel overlooked in our workplaces, neighbourhoods, friendships, churches and communities. If these short Bible devotionals help you follow Jesus in everyday life, **subscribe and join me each day for five minutes of Scripture, reflection and practical faith.** *Today’s Bible reading:* Isaiah 56:6–8 #ChristianDevotional #DailyDevotional #Isaiah56 #GodsGrace #Faith #BibleDevotional Have you ever been welcomed somewhere when you expected to feel like an outsider? The Past Can Teach You - But Don’t Live There

What if the past is meant to teach you, but not become your home? Whether you are carrying regret or longing for better days, Proverbs 4:25–27 offers a gentle invitation: keep facing forward. In today’s 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore how to learn from yesterday without getting trapped there. Regret can keep us looking backwards, but so can former success. God meets us here, today, and invites us to take one faithful next step. Your past can be a mirror without becoming your map. *Question for today:* What is one thing from the past you are ready to learn from and release? How to Stop Needing the Last Word

Some relationships feel heavy because there is simply no room left for peace.   What if the next faithful step is not winning the argument, but clearing some space? In today’s 5-Min Daily Devotional, Romans 14:19 invites us to “aim for harmony” and build each other up. We explore why letting go of the need for the last word does not mean avoiding truth, ignoring hurt, or pretending everything is fine. Sometimes one small choice can change the atmosphere: listening instead of preparing your reply, choosing kindness instead of another correction, or letting an old argument stay in the past. If relationships at home, work, church, corps, or in your community have left you weary, this Christian devotional offers a gentle way to make room for peace without losing yourself. What to Hold Onto When Everything Feels Uncertain

What do you hold onto when the things that made life feel secure begin to change?   Psalm 73 offers a quiet promise for those moments: when our strength fails, God remains. In this 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore what difficult seasons can reveal about the things we quietly depend on. Psalm 73:25–26 reminds us that faith does not mean pretending loss or uncertainty does not hurt. Instead, we discover that our deepest security rests not in keeping everything together, but in Christ holding us. If life feels uncertain today, you do not need to make yourself stronger. You can rest in the One who remains steady when everything else seems to move. *Subscribe for a new 5-minute daily devotional each day* — simple Bible teaching to help you trust God and follow Jesus in everyday life. #ChristianDevotional #Psalm73 #TrustingGod #FaithInHardTimes #DailyDevotional When life has felt uncertain or something important has changed, what has helped you remember that God is still holding you? Why Waiting Until You’re Ready Keeps You Stuck

What if waiting until you feel completely ready is actually keeping you stuck?   You don’t need to sort your whole life today. You may simply need one faithful next step. In this 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore Ecclesiastes 11:4 and the way perfectionism can leave us watching the clouds instead of beginning. God does not ask you to know every step, make every decision perfectly, or finish everything at once. His grace meets you in the small step you can take today. If life feels overwhelming, there is hope: small does not mean pointless, unfinished does not mean failed, and you are allowed to learn as you go. *Subscribe for a new 5-minute daily devotional each day* as we discover simple biblical wisdom for faith, work, relationships and everyday life. *Today’s Scripture:* Ecclesiastes 11:4 #ChristianDevotional #Ecclesiastes11 #TrustingGod #Perfectionism #Overwhelmed #DailyDevotional #Faith Sometimes we stay stuck because we feel we need to make the *perfect* choice. What is one small step you know you need to take today? It might be sending a message, starting something you have put off, asking for help, or simply making one decision. Share yours below if you feel comfortable. Let’s encourage one another to take the next faithful step rather than trying to sort everything at once. The Real Reason You Need More Space in Your Life

What if simplifying your life is not really about having more time for yourself?   Perhaps God wants to make you more available for someone else. In 2 Timothy 2:20–21, Paul gives us a simple picture of being ready for the Master to use. Today’s 5-minute Christian devotional explores why an empty space in your diary, budget or energy does not have to be wasted space. It may become the room where love, kindness and service can grow. You do not need to prove your worth by doing more. You are already loved in Christ. But because you are loved, you can make room to notice the neighbour, colleague, friend or family member who may need you today. **One simple step:** Leave one small gap this week and offer it to God. Subscribe for a new **5-Min Daily Devotional every day**, with practical Bible teaching to help you follow Jesus in everyday life. **Scripture:** 2 Timothy 2:20–21 **SEO:** Christian devotional, daily devotional, 5 minute devotional, 2 Timothy 2:20-21, serving others, Christian encouragement, making time for others, simplifying your life, faith in everyday life, Christian living, trusting God, following Jesus #DailyDevotional #ChristianDevotional #Faith Where could you make a little room this week so you are more available to someone else? What If Your Achievements Can’t Tell You Who You Are?

What happens when you achieve something good — but still feel as though you have something to prove? Your achievements may describe part of your story. They cannot tell you what you are worth. In Jeremiah 9:23–24, God warns us not to build our identity on wisdom, strength, wealth or success. Those things can be gifts, but they were never meant to carry the weight of our worth. In today's 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore how to work hard, receive encouragement and use our gifts without depending on achievement to tell us that we matter. You are already known, seen and loved by God. One small step for today: Do one good thing without needing anyone to notice. Let it remind you that you do not have to earn your value. Subscribe for a new 5-minute daily devotional each day as we explore practical Christian faith for ordinary life.
