Ken and Nancy are so kind and compassionate. This podcast was a warm blanket when I was in the throes of grief over my beautiful dog. I still listen from time to time and have recommended it to many friends. I also appreciated that Ken and Nancy personally responded to my email where I wrote with a follow up question about one ep. They were very kind and thoughtful in their response, which meant so much to me at the time. Thank you for this.

I’m so grateful Ken and Nancy do this work, this podcast has been so helpful to me as I grieve my beloved dog who recently passed. You can hear the love and tenderness in their voices; their clinical training also shows through as they provide listeners with advice and validation. Such a great resource for anyone who is grieving their pets, or to share with someone who has recently gone through a loss.

When your dog passes, many people don’t understand the grief; but the empathy you both convey during your show offered me comfort, peace, even answers and a hope that I would survive losing my soul dog. I even attended some of your group meetings online - highly recommend! Thank you for helping me navigate what was the MOST difficult chapter of my life.

I love the submitted stories and also enjoying the new format of the show bringing guests in and answering some listener questions. Gives more dimension to the show. I do wish they’d fix their audio levels though, volume is inconsistent from one speaker to another and it makes for a not as pleasant listening experience
