This is the podcast for you…
Louise has what it takes to help people feel consoled, understood, and validated before, during, and after pet loss. I was heartened early on to hear Louise describe pets as companions, best friends, and family; thereby explaining why it’s so hard to lose them She also addresses the myth that pets can simply be replaced.
Because of her own pet loss experience and vulnerability, Louise is able to personally connect with the listener and to help listeners feel not alone in the grief. For this reason, I became hooked on the podcast from the very first listen. Eventually, I subscribed to Louise’s Patreon account and then register for her six-week Grief Recovery Program (via Zoom).
Three months ago, I doubted if I’d ever feel good again; but the podcasts and program have helped me process the deep sorrow and regret. By the final session of the program last week, I was able to enjoy memories of my cat and our 18 years together (not just the difficult, last two weeks of her life). I was also able to feel joy again and to sense, in a way, that the cat never left. She is still with me. 5 Stars!
Thank you
So glad I’ve been able to find this podcast after the recent loss of my baby rocky. I wish these episodes were longer, they bring me such comfort. Thank you so much for making these and spreading light on such hard times
