FB 008 Dr. Harley Rotbart : 7 Keys to Life With No Regrets

FLASHBACK FRIDAY EPISODE 008 May 2021 'A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams.' (John Barrymore) 'Miracles are objects and events in nature and in our lives, that cannot be fully explained or recreated' (Dr. Harley Rotbart) Dr. Harley Rotbart is the author of "No Regrets Living: 7 keys to a life of Wonder and Contentment", is an infectious disease specialist, Professor and Vice-Chair Emeritus of Paediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Having over 175 medical and scientific publications, his career is deeply rooted in science. Yet his experiences as a physician at Children's Hospital Colorado, taught him to believe in miracles, and that there are things beyond our ability to know.  His 7 Keys to a life of content encompass belief in a power greater than ourselves, discovering the messiah within each of us, healing evil whether within ourselves or in the world around us, appreciating and giving thanks, accepting things we regret by putting them into the context in which they  occurred, seeking purpose and also self-forgiveness and finally growing, by looking back and seeing how far we have come and knowing there is growth still to come. Dr. Rotbart suggests that we have to discover miracles around us in order to appreciate the non-miraculous moments in our lives, that is, discover the magnificence around us. Live like you are dying and don't put off important things to the future. Accept that there is something greater than us, whatever your unique belief may be, and be humbled by knowing there are some things that are out of our control. FB 019 Esra Ogut: Money Does Grow On Trees- The Myths We Create and Live By

Flashback Friday:   'What creates our reality is not really the action we're taking. But the being state that stands behind the action.'  (Esra B. Ogut) One of the seven key pillars of the Growing Older Living Younger roadmap to aging youthfully, is comprised of the 3 attributes Mindset, Mindfulness and Mindkeep. Earlier episodes of this podcast have focused on beliefs, behaviors and consequences, resilience and healing from trauma, living with purpose, and keeping your cognitive functions sharp.    Today we talk about transformation. How the myths we create through our life experiences can hold us back, or help us achieve what we desire, and how we can transform limiting beliefs into a force for positive growth.   Esra Ogut is a transformational coach, yoga teacher, and author of a new book. Money Does Grow on Trees: The Myths We Create and Live By. Transforming her own mythology, took her from working as a shoe salesgirl to living a millionaire life. With her husband, Ike, they run a certification program in transformational coaching.  Her key takeaway is the suggestion to do this  simple exercise every day, Be grateful and express your gratitude in 10-15 sentences for 2 to 3 different subjects that are already present in your life. Speak this and be grateful, until you sense a change of state within you;  until you start feeling different,  until you feel your frequency rise.  Then move on to start being grateful for things that you would want to happen in your life as if they have already happened. That's a very, very big tool of manifestation.  Connect with Esra: www.ikeandesranow.com Hello@ikeandesranow.com  Contact Dr. Gillian Lockitch to learn how you can decelerate your aging trajectory,  stay vibrant and vigorous, or start your own online business in wellness and anti-aging: https://linktr.ee/askdrgill   Email: askdrgill@gmail.com Schedule a complimentary Living Younger Discovery Call  by emailing Dr. Lockitch at askdrgill@gmail.com Order your copy of Growing Older Living Younger: The Science of Aging Gracefully and the Art of Retiring Comfortably at www.gillianlockitch.com - North America only
