Mustang Memories Show Meet & Greet Nets Walk-Up Stories, Celebrity Guests

The Mustang Owner’s Podcast took its Meet & Greet tent on the road again this year – this time to the annual Mustang Memories & All-Ford Show hosted by the Mustang Owners Club of SouthEastern Michigan (MOCSEM). Normally held behind Ford’s former HQ known as the “Glass House,” the Memories show was moved to the nearby AAA Headquarters after Ford had moved into its new World Headquarters on its Dearborn design and engineering campus, and slated the Glass House for demolition.Beyond the venue, the date for Memories 2026 was also moved to the Sunday before Detroit’s famed Woodward Dream Cruise instead of the Sunday after. Regardless of the changes, Mustang Memories drew several hundred cars and even more attendees to share a Sunday of sunshine, Mustangs and classic Ford camaraderie. John had to work Ford’s Meet & Greet tent for Team Mustang, while Mike set up the Mustang Owner’s Podcast tent right alongside to meet with fans, do live recordings of their Mustang stories and even welcome some Mustang celebrities – including Kevin Marti of “Marti Report” fame, SN95 Chief Designer Bud Magaldi, plus Mustang II Designer Buck Mook and SN95 Interior Designer Emeline King, just to name a few. We’ll take a closer look at the cars on display at MOCSEM’s Mustang Memories 2026 in an upcoming episode, but this time around we wanted to give you an idea of the Mustang vibes at this nationally known event, and see what is was like to hang out with the podcast team for a day of Mustang show fun in Ford’s own back yard.  👍Please Like this video and Leave a Comment 🔔 Subscribe to the Mustang Owner’s Podcast 📢 Share with fellow Mustang enthusiasts. Saga of Shirlee McArthur’s ’00 Cobra R: When Is It ‘Right’ to Sell Your Mustang?

One of the most difficult decisions any Mustang owner will ever make is deciding if and when it’s the right time to sell one of their beloved pony cars. Sometimes it’s a financial decision, other times it’s driven by a need to thin the heard. Or maybe it’s just time for  change. Regardless, of the reason, selling more often than not becomes a source of regret. John has seen it in person and because of its pedigree, believed Shirlee would NEVER sell this car – until he‘d heard she’d actually put it up for sale! Hear why this car is so special, why Shirlee considered selling it – and join her in trying to help the guys determine how you can know when it’s the right time to sell your Mustang. What about you? Mailbag July 2026: An AWD S650? ‘Boring’ Fords? / Tech Episodes?

With June 2026 Mailbag content included in our inaugural “Roundup” episode, John and Mike field some thought-provoking questions and comments in this July 2026 Mailbag episode – especially one involving an All Wheel Drive variant of the S650. Of course, few really know if such an initiative exists but we offer a scenario why it might make sense if a four-door Mustang is really being considered – and how that might even cover the rumors about a Hybrid. A frequent commentor weighs in on Ford’s “No More Boring Cars” mantra – and asks, are Fords really boring or is it the product choices and marketing? Plus, we reveal what determines our on-site car show episode selections vs. studio podcasts, and even discuss if perhaps adding a few Tech Session episodes – perhaps including the expertise of our friend Jim Smart, should be added to our mix. You’re encouraged to get mentioned in the next Mustang Owner’s Podcast Mailbag episode by posting in the Comments section of each and every YouTube podcast or by sending us and email with “Podcast” in the subject line to jclor@CarsInContext.com Like the video and Leave a Comment Subscribe to the Mustang Owner’s Podcast Share with fellow Mustang enthusiasts. Gathering at the Barn

Here’s another fun Mustang Owner’s Podcast episode from the Halderman Mustang Museum in Tipp City, Ohio, just north of Dayton off I-75. This time John and Mike take you on a tour of the show field from the “Gathering At The Barn” all-Ford car show, an annual museum fundraiser event hosted by the Mustang Club of Ohio, and sponsored by Dave Arbogast Ford of nearby Troy, Ohio. Yes, this show had showcased the custom "Mach-X" award-winning show car – a vintage-looking 1969 Mustang Mach 1-inspired modern classic built off a 2012 Mustang GT California Special chassis by Zero-Given Garage. That’s why the boys featured the Mach-X in its own episode of the Podcast, including an exclusive test drive and in-person interview with Aaron Duncan of Duncan Brothers Customs fame, now the creative master behind Zero Given Garage. Go back to the channel and check it out! This year’s “Gathering” also featured special presentations (and an autograph session) by not one, but two famed Mustang designers – Bud Magaldi, Design Chief of the Fourth-Generation 1994 SN95 Mustang, and Bob Aikins, Chief Stylist for the Mustang SVO and the 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car. What’s more, two members of the Mustang Club of Ohio – Dave and Pam Rose – were inducted into the Halderman Museum Mustang Club Member Hall of Fame in a ceremony emceed by John Clor himself. All that – along with this idyllic venue, some superb weather, an enjoyable food truck, mellow DJ, lots of celebrity-chosen awards and lots of really great cars on display – make this show one worth experiencing. Take a walk with John and Mike to witness some of these fine rides!
