QUESTION: What’s the worst thing that has ever happened to you during trial? Like that oh shoot moment when police officer identifies the interpreter as the defendant? HERE’S MY QUESTION: “Do you take the polygraph or not?” “Do you lawyer up or not?” “ What’s an honest citizen who stumbles upon a dead body to do?” What’s would Brett and Alice do? You’re walking down the street and encounter an abandoned murder victim. You call 9-1-1. You guys always say the person who finds the body is an immediate suspect. So knowing this, do you speak to the police without a lawyer or not? Do you take a polygraph or not? If you don’t take it, you’re uncooperative and raise suspicions. If you do take it and it’s inconclusive or you fail - you’re suspicious. Or you could even pass and they could lie to you and say you didn’t.

Your podcasts are always so informative. I just listened to the episode about a murder case without a body. I was juror #1 on a murder case without a body in 2013. All of the circumstantial evidence only pointed to one thing…the beautiful 17 year old, Alexis Murphy, was no longer alive after last being seen with Randy Taylor. We got the conviction! He finally led authorities to her remains 7 years later, based on a deal to be moved to a less harsh prison. Anyhow, keep up the good work!
