With the rise of AI tools like ChatGPT more job seekers are using AI to write their resumes. As a result employers are beginning to see what they are calling skillfishing. This happens when resumes present a level of expertise that applicants cannot fully demonstrate during interviews or once they are hired. This trend is becoming costly for organizations because it creates problems with onboarding, performance, retention, and rehiring.
