I used to LOVE this pod but haven’t been able to get through the last few eps I was listening to and just let myself get behind. Benny is still hilarious and makes me laugh really hard. That being said, Mary Beth’s dry sense of humor used to be a nice juxtaposition to his, but lately she’s come across as downright catty and self absorbed. What’s most surprising is that both Benny and Mary Beth used to make fun of those kinds of people, which was one of the many reasons I enjoyed listening to the pod. I initially thought they were both really funny and grounded in reality. Unfortunately, I don’t get any joy from this pod anymore and it just sounds like two people who are quite self obsessed (bleep it) having a convo about…well nothing really.
