I’m hopeful the Supreme Court can be challenged to the text of the Constitution, if I understand correctly. Challenge the prescribed cap on the number of representatives. There is a demonstrative inequality in the house: 435 representatives. The concept that the house is representative of the people fails against reality. A representative in Wyoming stands for 576,851 citizens. A representative for California 39,538,223. The limit of 435 seats is discriminating in unequal representation. Must we pursue eliminating the 435 seats as unconstitutional? Is it not time to do so? Should we not have 31.8% more representatives? Is not the 435 representatives inherently discriminatory? Yes, administratively, the change in logistics is significant. Is that sufficient reason to abandon reasonable representation per citizen? The country has changed yet the lock to a time that ignores our country’s growth is unresponsive. Equal representation is blatantly unjust. Is this not the first step to equality in the House of Representatives? Those in power ignore this fatal flaw. Are we not compelled to right this wrong? George OB. San Francisco, CA
