    EPISODE 134-ANDREW HURLEY

⛳️ EPISODE 134 — ANDREW HURLEY ⛳️ On this episode of the Upstate Golf Guys Podcast, we’re joined by New Jersey standout Andrew Hurley! Andrew was a standout junior golfer before taking his game to the Division I level at Monmouth University, where he competed against some serious talent — including guys who are playing on Tour today. We get into what it’s really like playing high-level competitive golf, the pressure that comes with tournament golf, and Andrew’s journey back into the competitive scene after dealing with an injury. We also dive into some of the craziest rules in golf — rules that have affected tournaments, rules that make absolutely no sense, and a few that we think NEED to be changed. 😂 And then there’s this… 🤯 ANDREW HURLEY HAS 10 HOLES-IN-ONE. TEN. Most golfers spend their entire lives chasing ONE, and this guy has enough aces to fill out a damn scorecard. 😂 Obviously, we had to hear the stories behind them! Andrew is getting back into competitive golf, and we have a feeling this won’t be the last time you hear him on the Upstate Golf Guys Podcast. We’re planning on getting him back on after he starts collecting some tournament hardware! 🏆 Huge shoutout to our sponsor Hudson Valley Indoor Golf for continuing to support the podcast! If you want to keep the swing sharp, play some incredible courses, or just get the boys together for a round indoors, check out HVIG! ⛳️🍻 🎙️ Upstate Golf Guys Podcast — Episode 134🏌️ Guest: Andrew Hurley🔥 D-I Golfer | Competitive Golf | Crazy Golf Rules | 10 HOLES-IN-ONE #UpstateGolfGuys #GolfPodcast #AndrewHurley #MonmouthGolf #CollegeGolf #CompetitiveGolf #GolfRules #HoleInOne #GolfLife #GolfTalk #NewJerseyGolf #UpstateNYGo Learn more about your ad choices. EPISODE 133- FINDING MY FAIRWAY

We had an absolute blast with our latest guest, Finding My Fairway, a brand-new golfer and up-and-coming golf content creator from Toronto, Canada! She’s new to the game, but she’s already bringing a ton of personality, humor, and raw, unfiltered content to the golf world. Let’s just say… she’s making golf content that’s getting PLENTY of attention from the guys 😂👀 We put her through the usual golf questions, talked about how she got into the game, what it’s like being a new golfer and content creator, and got her take on the Canadian golf scene 🇨🇦⛳️ But of course, we couldn’t just talk golf the whole time… 🔥 What’s a red flag on a golf date?🔥 What are her biggest golf pet peeves?🔥 What does she think about the golf world as a newcomer?🔥 And plenty of other questions that may or may not have gotten a little spicy 😂 This was one of those conversations where the microphones were on and we just let it fly. Funny, unfiltered and definitely not your typical golf interview. Go check her out on Instagram: @findingmyfairway and give her a follow! And as always, a HUGE shoutout to our sponsor: 🏌️‍♂️ HVIG — Hudson Valley Indoor GolfWhen the weather turns to crap, your golf game doesn’t have to! Go check out Hudson Valley Indoor Golf and keep working on that swing year-round. 🎙️ The Upstate Golf Guys PodcastSerious about golf. EPISODE 132- 3 PUTT PAT

This week on the Upstate Golf Guys Podcast, we’re joined by golf content creator 3 Putt Pat for a hilarious conversation about his latest—and possibly craziest—challenge yet! Pat is literally working his way through the phonebook, calling complete strangers and asking them if they want to play a round of golf with him. And yes… he’s paying for the round! We dive into where the idea came from, some of the wild responses he’s gotten so far, and the big question: When the hell is someone actually going to say YES?! But that’s not the only crazy thing Pat has done for content. He’s also been known to do some absolutely ridiculous challenges—like smashing golf balls into his own van until he hits a certain follower goal. 🤣 We talk about Pat’s love for the game, how he got started playing golf, our shared obsession with the game, and plenty of laughs along the way. And just when you think we’re done, we finish things off with a rapid-fire spitfire round that you definitely won’t want to miss! ⛳ Golf. Content. Chaos. What more could you want? And as always, make sure you show some love to our sponsor, Hudson Valley Indoor Golf! 🏌️‍♂️ Give the episode a listen, drop a comment, and let us know: Would YOU answer the phone and agree to play a round of golf with 3 Putt Pat? 😂 Learn more about your ad choices. EPISODE 131- BREAKING 80

This week on The Upstate Golf Guys Podcast, we dive into one of the toughest milestones in amateur golf: breaking 80. I talk about the struggles of getting over that hump, what you should—and definitely shouldn’t—do when you're putting together a great round, and how quickly things can change when you know you're right on the doorstep. I’ve been there the past few weeks, giving myself legitimate chances to break 80, but just barely missing the mark every time. We get into the mental side of chasing that number, the mistakes that can derail a round, and what it takes to finally get over the hump and shoot in the 70s. Plus, we had a fun question-and-answer segment with co-host RGB, talking golf and having some laughs along the way! If you’ve ever stood on the course knowing you have a chance to break 80—or had a great round slip away—you’ll definitely be able to relate to this episode. Learn more about your ad choices. GOLFWEEK SPOTLIGHT-HILAND BREAKDOWN

This week on the Upstate Golf Guys Podcast, we are back with a new Golfweek Spotlight and we're joined by Mike Winters, Assistant Director of the Golfweek Amateur Tour, along with Brad Facteau, for a great conversation packed with tournament recaps, course strategy, and plenty of laughs. We kick things off by breaking down the two-day Major at Eagle Crest, where the course played every bit as long and difficult as advertised. We recap the weekend, discuss some of the biggest challenges players faced, and give a well-deserved shout-out to all of the flight winners for their outstanding performances. From there, we look ahead to the next Golfweek Amateur Tour stop at Hiland Golf Club in Queensbury, NY. Since Hiland is Mike and Brad's home course, they share insider knowledge on what players can expect. We go hole-by-hole, pointing out key landing areas, risk-versus-reward decisions, and where trouble is waiting. One thing became very clear—Hiland is not a course where you can just grip it and rip it. Water hazards, white stakes, and tight landing areas are everywhere, and they have a way of sneaking up on you if you're not paying attention. Accuracy off the tee is going to be the key to posting a good score. If you tend to slice the ball, you may want to leave the driver in the bag on a few holes! Whether you're playing this week's event or just enjoy hearing course strategy and tournament talk, this episode is full of valuable insight to help you prepare for one of the tougher tests on the schedule. we finished the episode off with a little Tiger talk and a few questions and answers to close out. Be sure to like, subscribe, and let us know your predictions for Hiland. We'll see everyone on the first tee! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

BONUS EPISODE- GIMMIES OR NO GIMMIES?

Summer is flying by, and before we know it, we'll be back inside at Hudson Valley Indoor Golf with snow on the ground! This week, it's just Anthony and RGB catching up, talking about how fast the season is moving and making the most of every round while we still can. The boys also dive into one of the hottest debates in our Sunday Loop PPP: Gimmies or no gimmies? Do you putt everything out? Does it change when there's money on the line? Things got a little heated on the 7th hole as both sides made their case, and trust us—you'll probably have an opinion too. We also had some fun with a round of "Would You Rather?" as RGB fired off a few golf-themed questions for Anthony that led to some great laughs and interesting answers. Looking ahead, we're getting pumped for our upcoming golf trip to Binghamton, where we'll be teeing it up at Conklin and En-Joie. Weekend golf trips with the boys are always unforgettable, and we can't wait to share the stories from this one. A huge thank you to our sponsor, HVIG – Hudson Valley Indoor Golf, for supporting the show. EPISODE 130-FLORIDA MIKE TAKES A ROAD TRIP TO TROY

This episode of the Upstate Golf Guys Podcast felt like the old days—just RGB, Florida Mike, and Anthony back behind the mics making bread and chopping it up. This is a special joint episode with the Pitch, Putt & Puff Podcast, bringing both crews together for a weekend full of golf, laughs, and great stories. Florida Mike made his second trip to Troy, NY, and spent the weekend teeing it up with the Pitch, Putt & Puff Crew, playing three rounds at Frear Park. We break down the golf, the laughs, the highlights, and share some clips from our Sunday round. Of course, no trip to Troy is complete without talking food. Mike missed out on the legendary DeFazio's Pizza, but he did get to experience another local favorite, the seasonal sensation Kay's Pizza. The big question is... which one do you think would've been his favorite? We also talk about everything else Mike squeezed into his Upstate New York visit, including trips to Lake George and the Catskills, while looking back on another unforgettable golf weekend. Now the pressure is officially on! After Mike made the trip north again, it's time for RGB and Anthony to head south this winter for some Florida golf. The countdown starts now! Tune in, enjoy the conversation, and don't forget to check out the clips from our Sunday round at Frear Park. We think you'll feel like you're right there with us.
