Ep 145 | Weight Loss Over 60: How Cheryl Broke the Stress Eating Cycle and Lost 20 Pounds in 12 Weeks

Weight Loss Over 60: How Cheryl Broke the Stress Eating Cycle and Lost 20 Pounds in 12 Weeks Cheryl was in my world for four years before she said yes. Years earlier, she had lost 20 pounds on her own. She liked how she looked, but she admits now she was focused on her outside while the Lord wanted to deal with her heart. When stress came up at home and in her friendships, she ran to chocolate. For a moment everything felt fine. Two hours later, she reached for more. The weight came back, and eventually she stopped paying attention altogether. Her week went like this: Monday and Tuesday were great, Wednesday slipped, and by Friday and Saturday it was a wreck. Then she’d promise herself she would do something about it, and she wouldn’t. When the Faith & Fit Reset opened, Cheryl felt the Lord convicting her that this was the one. She stepped in by faith, then into the 12-Week Trinity Transformation. At over 60 years wise, she lost 20 pounds and 10.5 inches, and she found freedom from bitterness that no scale could measure. In this episode, you’ll hear: How the stress eating cycle kept Cheryl stuck, and how she finally broke it Why doing it alone kept failing, and what structure and accountability changed The fear of “What if I fail again?” and how God answered it How she found freedom from bitterness and the lies she had been believing Why the cost of staying where she was became greater than the cost of stepping in If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, this one is for you. Worship & Word Wednesday | The Health Promise From God: Proverbs 3

Worship & Word Wednesday | Proverbs 3: Where Are You Putting Your Weight? The Health Promise From God The scale decides your mood. The old plan you keep going back to stopped working years ago. Somewhere along the way, you started putting your full weight on things that were never built to hold you. You probably know Proverbs 3:5–6 by heart: trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but most of us stop reading too early. Just two verses later, God makes a promise about your physical body: health to your body and refreshment to your bones. In this Worship & Word Wednesday episode, we go deep into the original Hebrew of Proverbs 3:5–8 to uncover what this passage means for a Christian woman on her weight loss and health journey. In this episode: What the Hebrew word for "lean" reveals about the scale, the apps, and the willpower you've been relying on Why "acknowledge Him in all your ways" reaches into your kitchen, your habits, and your hardest hours How "be not wise in your own eyes" frees you from the verdict you give your body in the mirror The healing promise in verse 8, and why it speaks to women over 35 Three simple ways to walk out Proverbs 3 this week Worship, Scripture-based declarations, a praise break, and a closing prayer over your journey This is chapter 3. My book, The Christian Women's Weight Loss Victory Plan: How to Defeat the Enemy and Transform Your Body, walks you through all 31 chapters of Proverbs, one day at a time, applied to your faith-based weight loss journey. Ep 143 | Pumpkin Spice & Weight Gain : Don't Wait Until January

Holiday Weight Gain: Don’t Wait Until January Pumpkin spice. Fall treats. Excess candy. Thanksgiving. Christmas cookies. Holiday parties. Before you know it, October has turned into December—and you may find yourself saying, “I’ll start my weight loss journey in January.” Waiting until January is exactly what keeps you from hitting your goal.  In this episode of the Christian Women’s Weight Loss Podcast | Faith, Food, Fitness, Ondrea Lynn exposes one of the biggest traps Christian women can fall into during the fall and holiday season: giving themselves a seasonal permission slip to abandon the healthy choices they’ve been making. We’re talking about holiday weight gain, emotional eating, holiday overeating, pumpkin spice cravings, Thanksgiving weight gain, Christmas eating, and how to stay on track with your weight loss during the holidays—without fearing food or feeling like you have to be perfect. You’ll discover: Why the pumpkin spice isn’t actually the problem How one food choice can turn into an “I’ve already blown it” spiral The seasonal permission slip that can derail months of progress How to enjoy the holidays without putting your health on hold Why you don’t need to wait until January to start losing weight How Christian women can approach food through the lens of stewardship rather than shame A simple mindset shift that can stop one choice from becoming a season of choices What to do when you eat something that wasn’t part of your plan How to enter January already moving forward instead of starting over And here’s the question I want you to consider: What if January 1 didn’t have to be your starting line? What if you could walk into the new year knowing that you didn’t abandon your health during October, November and December? You don’t need to avoid every holiday food. You don’t need another extreme diet. And you don’t need to wait for a new year to make a new decision. You can enjoy the season and continue stewarding the body God has entrusted to you. If you’re a Christian woman over 40—or over 50—who is tired of starting over and wants to lose weight in a way that honors God, this episode is for you. Ready for personalized support? Worship & Word Wed | Why Christian Weight Loss Motivation Lasts When Diet Motivation Fails

Why Christian Weight Loss Motivation Lasts When Diet Motivation Fails | Bonus Episode What if the reason you keep losing your motivation to lose weight is because motivation was never supposed to be the thing holding you up? In this powerful bonus episode of the Christian Women’s Weight Loss Podcast, Ondrea Lynn explores why traditional diet motivation eventually fades—and why pursuing weight loss God’s way can create a completely different foundation. This isn’t about another diet, counting down the days until you quit, or learning to hate your body into submission. It’s about faith, obedience, stewardship, renewing your mind, and allowing God’s Word to become the foundation of your health and weight loss journey. Inside this episode, you’ll discover: Why motivation alone isn’t enough to sustain lasting weight loss What Galatians 6:9 teaches us about not growing weary Why your body is not your enemy—and what it means to steward your body as God’s temple The powerful story of Daniel and what “purposed in his heart” can teach us about making decisions before temptation comes How self-control connects to the fruit of the Spirit Why renewing your mind is essential for lasting transformation How to stop using shame as your motivation How to make your weight loss journey about more than a number on the scale Then we’ll move into a powerful worship moment, biblical declarations and decrees, a praise break, and a prayer over your health, body, mindset, and journey with God. Because your weight is not your identity. Your size doesn’t determine your worth. Jesus does. If you’re ready to pursue weight loss God’s way, you’ll also hear how to take your next step with Ondrea—including grabbing a copy of The Christian Women’s Weight Loss Victory Plan, gathering your women’s Bible study or church group to go through it together, or setting up a Weight Loss Victory Call if you’re ready to explore losing 20 pounds in 12 weeks without starving or endless exercise. Ep 142 | Do You Agree With God For Your Weight Loss?

Do You Agree With God About Your Weight Loss? What if the biggest battle you’re fighting in your weight loss journey isn’t happening in your kitchen… or on the scale… or even in your workout? What if the battle is happening in your mind? In this powerful episode of the Christian Women’s Weight Loss Podcast | Faith, Food, Fitness, Ondrea Lynn explores one question that can completely change the way you approach your weight loss journey: Do you agree with God? After recently spending time with Dr. Clarice Fluitt, Ondrea was deeply impacted by the idea of agreement with God—and she brings that powerful principle into the conversation around weight loss, health, food, fitness, and renewing your mind. Because what happens when you’ve tried to lose weight before? What happens when the scale doesn’t move? What happens when you lose weight and then gain some back? What happens when you start thinking… “Maybe I’m just too old.” “Maybe my body can’t change anymore.” “I’ve always struggled with food.” “I’ll never be able to keep the weight off.” “I’ve tried everything.” Whose report are you agreeing with? In this episode, Ondrea walks you through the biblical story of the twelve spies in Numbers 13–14, showing how the same circumstances can produce completely different responses depending on what you believe about God. You’ll also hear about Abraham in Romans 4, the renewing of your mind in Romans 12:2, and what Scripture teaches about stewarding your body, developing self-control, and taking faithful action. Ondrea also shares an important distinction: Faith isn’t a substitute for action. Faith doesn’t mean pretending the struggle isn’t real. It means allowing God’s truth to become the foundation from which you respond to the struggle. You’ll discover why Christian weight loss can’t simply be about calories and workouts—and why Ondrea’s Faith, Food & Fitness approach addresses the whole woman. Because you may need more than another meal plan. You may need more than another workout. And you may need more than mindset information. You may need someone who can help you connect the pieces: Faith. Food. Fitness. Mindset. Habits. Support. If you’re a Christian woman over 30 who wants to lose weight, transform your relationship with your health, and learn how to maintain your results while honoring God, this episode is for you. In this episode, you’ll learn: • Why the question “Do you agree with God?” matters on your weight loss journey • How Numbers 13–14 can help you understand the battle between fear and faith • Why your current circumstances don’t have to define your identity or future • What Romans 12:2 teaches about renewing your mind • How Abraham responded when circumstances appeared impossible • Why faith must be accompanied by action • What biblical self-control actually means • How to stop allowing the scale to determine your identity • Why Faith, Food & Fitness addresses more than just one piece of weight loss • How Scripture can become an anchor when discouragement hits A WORD FOR YOU TODAY Maybe you’ve been agreeing with your past. Maybe you’ve been agreeing with the scale. Maybe you’ve been agreeing with the voice that says you can’t change. Today, pause and ask yourself: “What am I agreeing with?” Then ask: “What does God’s Word actually say?” You don’t have to have the entire journey figured out today. You can take the next faithful step. One meal. One choice. One workout when appropriate. One thought. One day at a time. READY FOR PERSONALIZED SUPPORT? If you’re a Christian woman over 30 and you’re ready to stop piecing together weight loss information on your own, I’d love to help you look at the whole picture—Faith, Food & Fitness. Worship & Word Wednesday | Is Weight Loss An Act Of Worship

Can weight loss actually be an act of worship? What if your Christian weight loss journey isn’t just about losing pounds—but about learning to honor God with the body He entrusted to you? In this special Worship & Word Wednesday bonus episode of the Christian Women’s Weight Loss Podcast | Faith, Food, Fitness, Ondrea Lynn takes you deeper into the biblical meaning of worship and what it means for Christian women who want to lose weight God’s way. We often think of worship as singing, raising our hands, or praising God in church. But what does the Bible actually mean by worship? We’ll look at the Hebrew and Greek concepts behind biblical worship—including the idea of bowing, surrender, reverence, honor, and serving God—and connect those truths to Christian weight loss, healthy living, body stewardship, food choices, fitness, mindset, and caring for your body as God’s temple. You’ll discover why: • Your weight does not determine your worth or your value to God • Weight loss doesn’t have to come from shame, punishment, or diet culture • Caring for your body can become an expression of worship • Your food choices can be connected to surrender and stewardship • Renewing your mind is an important part of lasting weight loss • You can pursue healthy weight loss without starving yourself or living in the gym • Your Christian faith can become a foundation for lasting transformation Then we’ll move into a powerful time of worship, followed by biblical declarations and decrees, a praise break, and a closing prayer over your health, your body, your mindset, and your weight loss journey. If you’ve been trying to lose weight, starting over every Monday, struggling with emotional eating, sugar cravings, overeating, or feeling discouraged about your body, I want you to hear this: Your body is not your enemy. God has entrusted you with it. And your goal isn’t simply to become smaller. It’s to learn how to steward your body, renew your mind, strengthen your faith, and create healthy habits that support the woman God has called you to be. The holidays are coming, and you don’t have to wait until January to begin. If you’re a Christian woman over 30 who is ready for a different approach to weight loss—one that brings faith, food, fitness, mindset, and spiritual transformation together—I’d love to talk with you.
