The Frightful Fandom Podcast

There are some horror movies I’m curious about but just can’t stomach watching. FF does an amazing job summarizing and reviewing movies in a way that allows me to still enjoy them without having to watch gore. I love hearing all the fun facts and theories the host mentions. She clearly puts in the work to produce a quality podcast! Also, in the least offensive/weird way, this is a great podcast to fall asleep to. I’ll actually listen to the episode but replay it before bed because the host is a great story teller/speaker.

As a middle aged medical professional with 2 adult-ish kids in college who happens to adore horror movies but does not have the time to watch them all, I am so grateful for Bailey and her in depth reviews of many movies I want to see (the list is long yall) but may not get a chance to. She is funny, engaging and does a wonderful job! This has helped me tackle my list and pare down what I want to see (Terrifier) and what I was curious about but now know I don’t have to see (MiM). Keep up the excellent work! Highly recommend listening!

I have been listening for only about 4 months. And I’m already tired of it. So many plot points get left out. Things that set up other scenes. Or things that are important to the overall message. It’s such a frustrating experience. When I’m expecting a huge part, and she glazes over it. Like HUH? Especially in the Halloween 2018 - Halloween Ends podcast. Why glaze over important plot details? I’m not a fan either of some movies. But if you’re going to review it. Review all of it. Not the parts you deem the most interesting. If any of you out there want a far better podcast. With less tangents. And things actually staying on point and actually getting important facts. Listen to the Hello Sidney podcast. Superior listening experience.

Been listening for a bit , I do like your reviews but you miss a lot of key parts in the movie and kinda just glaze over them , your intros are really long too.
