    Justine Do Espirito Santo joins Victoria Comstock-Kershaw to talk about her path through the art industry and ‘Spare Room’, the exhibition project she co-founded in Paris with Anna Frera. Do Espirito Santo reflects on choosing a domestic space over a lease, the economies of subsistence the name carries, and how the real estate market shapes what galleries and project spaces can afford to risk. From her years in London galleries to her return to Paris, the conversation moves through the limits of the white cube, the pull of the art fair circuit, whether a gallery needs to be somewhere people return to, and how a generation raised on cheap travel and social media might belong differently. Throughout, she resists the idea of reinventing the model, describing instead a young project taking its time to find out what works.
