Brittany Hall - Biblical Healing Coach for Estranged Adult Children

Are you walking through a family estrangement from your own mother, father or maybe even entire family? Have you tried pouring out your heart, from the depths of your soul, just to be left unheard time and time again? Have you spent years, maybe even your whole life, feeling unloved, unwanted and all alone – even if your parents were right next to you? Do thoughts of “Will I ever be enough?” or “Do I even matter?” cross your mind?  I want to start off by saying I’m so sorry you are walking through this. You matter and you are more than enough! This podcast will help you see that you are fully loved, never alone and always chosen – every. single. time. – in the name of Jesus Christ!  Hi, I'm Brittany Hall! A mother, wife, and follower of Christ. I was just a small girl when my dad walked away the first time and only 7 days postpartum, with my first child, when my mom walked away too.  After going through an extremely traumatic birth experience, and even more traumatic family experience, I had no choice, but to protect my marriage and my child from the generational trauma I was experiencing in the present day. This wasn't about a single event or wounds of the past, but rather a harmful family system that was still alive and active in the present day.  I know the pain all too well of feeling unloved, unwanted, unseen and unheard by not one, but both of my parents, all while learning how to be a new parent myself.  Not only did this estrangement affect the relationship I had with my parents, but it also unexpectedly, affected my relationships with the entire family dynamic.  To say I felt loneliness, isolation and postpartum depression, would be an understatement. All at once, my world was crashing all around me.  And no matter how hard my husband cared for me, loved me, and supported me, it still wasn’t enough to fill the deep void of my entire family’s absence. But through this pain…  I ran to God! Through deception, betrayal and persecution, from my own biological family… I ran to Jesus.  And he taught me… What a beautiful, eternal father and mother our Lord really is!  One of… unconditional, parental love, with wholeness and peace, consistency and stability, predictability and care. A parent that loves me, sees me and hears my cries. This is our God. Psalms 27:10, it says: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”  God will not do what your parents did. God will not do what worldly family dysfunction has. And generational chains will break in the name of Jesus!  So if you're ready to experience this type of love, to have Christ-centered healing that will transform your life, and finally stop doing it all on your own -- then open your bible and let’s purely surrender together, at the feet of Jesus.

    39. emotional regulation after trauma, grief and estrangement (biblical + psychological perspective)

Renew Your Mind (Romans 12:2): Biblical + Psychological Tools for Trauma, Grief & Emotional Regulation This episode addresses overwhelming emotions and recurring thoughts tied to grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, estrangement, and family betrayal, exploring what it means biblically and psychologically to renew your mind. Using Romans 12:2, the host explains how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and how intense emotions can shut down rational thinking. Drawing from The Body Keeps the Score, they discuss how trauma is stored in the body and how emotional regulation begins with self-awareness: noticing triggers, naming what you feel, identifying where you feel it physically, and using slow deep breathing to calm the nervous system and release sensations. The episode encourages practicing these steps in quiet time with God, acknowledging feelings without living in them, and seeking support from a trusted person if needed.   Chapters 00:00 Stuck in Big Emotions 00:17 Who This Episode Helps 00:35 Support the Podcast 00:54 Show Intro and Host 01:30 Romans 12 Renewing Mind 02:37 Trauma Lives in Body 03:12 Thoughts Emotions Behaviors 04:51 Rational vs Emotional Brain 07:07 Self Awareness First Step 09:10 Body Scan and Breathing 12:20 Release Sensations with God 14:44 Closing and Next Steps     Are you struggling in estrangement? 38. for the estranged adult child, grieving a living parent or sibling.

Are you a estranged adult child grieving a living person, like your parent, sibling, or other family members? If so, today’s episode we go over what that grief is like at times and scriptures to help you through this!  When Estrangement Grief Returns: Waiting on God Through Birthdays & Family Pain (Luke 13, Habakkuk)   This episode speaks to estranged adult children struggling with grief that resurfaces during birthdays, holidays, and other family-centered milestones. The host shares vulnerably about her own emotions as her birthday and her mom’s birthday arrive a day apart, describing the ache of wanting family, the pain that remains even after partial reconciliation with her dad, and the ongoing estrangement from her mom, sister, and grandmother for nearly three years. She reads Luke 13:6–9 (the parable of the barren fig tree) and reflects on repeated disappointment, waiting, and trusting God as the gardener who provides what people cannot produce on their own. She also reads from Habakkuk about waiting for God’s timing and closes with a prayer for peace, strength, and spiritual protection for listeners and their families.     Chapters  00:00 For Estranged Hearts 00:41 Why Grief Returns 01:45 Birthdays Trigger Pain 03:08 Wanting Family Back 04:10 The Waiting Season 04:56 Luke 13 Fig Tree 07:52 Again And Disappointed 08:58 Three Years Of Hurt 10:24 God The Gardener 12:40 Staying On The Vine 14:24 Habakkuk On Waiting 17:38 Prayer And Blessing     Are you struggling in estrangement?  Fill out this form below and I’d be happy to help you!   Estrangement Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1zlvlIEENDXTxvXKgtGtONswYMq44LsKCc0Y67QmQa2ajXQ/viewform?usp=dialog      Apple Podcasts to listen + write a review! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Podcast -> https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Instagram -> https://www.instagram.com/biblicalhealingwithbritt/

    37. feeling alone, forgotten and estranged from family? (what to do when feeling lonely and forgotten)

Are you estranged from family and feeling alone and forgotten? Feeling Forgotten in Family Estrangement? What Joseph did during Waiting and Restoration (Genesis 40–41) The episode addresses feeling forgotten, alone, and questioning your worth during seasons of family estrangement, using Joseph’s story in Genesis 40–41. Continuing the Joseph series (previously in episode 34), the host recounts how Joseph, imprisoned after betrayal and slander, interpreted the chief cupbearer’s and baker’s dreams, which came true—yet the restored cupbearer forgot Joseph, and Joseph remained in prison for two more years. The host connects Joseph’s plea—“please remember me”—to the pain of undeserved estrangement and highlights what Joseph did in waiting: he served where God placed him, trusted the Lord rather than people, and endured patiently as God worked behind the scenes toward eventual restoration. The episode also parallels Jesus’ betrayal and crucifixion, encouraging listeners to wait on God, trust Him, and serve faithfully while seeking restoration.   Chapters  00:00 Feeling Forgotten 00:26 Back to Joseph 01:06 Joseph in Prison 02:16 Cupbearer Forgets 04:39 Two More Years 06:08 What Joseph Did 06:45 Waiting and Serving 08:07 Jesus in the Waiting 09:24 How to Wait on God 10:32 Closing Questions   Are you struggling in estrangement?  Fill out this form below and I’d be happy to help you!  Estrangement Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1zlvlIEENDXTxvXKgtGtONswYMq44LsKCc0Y67QmQa2ajXQ/viewform?usp=dialog    Apple Podcasts to listen + write a review! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Podcast -> https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Instagram -> https://www.instagram.com/biblicalhealingwithbritt/

    36. the #1 thing to do after family estrangement, for biblical healing.

Are you in the midst of family estrangement and don’t know what to do now? Have you been left feeling confused, conflicted and alone?  In today’s episode, we’re going over the #1 thing to do after family estrangement, for biblical healing.  What to Do After Family Estrangement, For Biblical Healing   This episode of Heal from Family Estrangement, hosted by Brittany, addresses what to do when you feel lost after estrangement from a parent or family and emphasizes handling it biblically by going directly to God. Using a story about getting lost hiking without a map, Brittany compares estrangement and life to feeling confused without God’s Word, urging listeners to read and meditate on scripture rather than relying first on people or content. She teaches from Matthew 3 that repentance means turning to God with a changed life, focusing on what you can control—your actions, motives, forgiveness, prayer, and alignment with Christ—without enabling abuse or trying to force reconciliation. She also references Matthew 10 about being rejected and “shaking the dust,” encouraging discernment, reading the Gospels, and asking what you can do today to align more with Christ.   Chapters  00:00 Lost After Estrangement 00:27 Show Welcome and Host 01:04 Support the Podcast 01:41 Lost on the Mountain 03:42 Gods Word  05:32 Matthew 3 Repentance 06:53 What is REAL Repentance  09:06 Handling Estrangement Biblically 10:05 What to Do 14:04 1 Question to reflect on   Apple Podcasts to listen + write a review! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Podcast -> https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heal-from-family-estrangement-scriptures-biblical-healing/id1836325555    Instagram -> https://www.instagram.com/biblicalhealingwithbritt/
