    Carly Kuhn: From The Cartorialist to Her First Book and the Art of Noticing

    How does a TV-radio-film major who worked at CAA and for Chelsea Handler end up one of the most recognizable illustrators on Instagram?  This week, Nan sits down with artist Carly Kuhn, better known to many as The Cartorialist, to trace that unlikely path and celebrate her first book, Character Study.  Carly talks about building a creative career in the early days of Instagram, the courage it took to call herself an artist, how she found her signature line without any formal art training, and her move from LA and Miami to Michigan (and finally having seasons).
