The Uruguay Gold Play With Kinross & Altius Onboard | Sun Valley Minerals

Sun Valley Minerals CEO Christo Stem joins Simon ahead of the company's Toronto Stock Exchange listing to explain how it has quietly become the largest landholder in Uruguay, and why it is fully funded to start drilling as soon as it lists. Sun Valley Minerals has grown its Taruman belt position from roughly 50 kilometers to close to 150 (licences granted and applications filed), with high-grade gold occurrences at surface along tens of kilometers of strike, and is already building a pipeline at Plumas Doradas. The company has C$15 million in the bank after two raises of just over $8 million and $10 million, has bought its own RC and core rigs, and has hired a drilling manager out of South Africa to run drilling in-house rather than rely on contractors. That funds at least 20,000 meters of RC drilling, with around 10,000 meters of deeper core to follow. For anyone following gold stocks, junior mining stocks or gold exploration, the tell is in the share register: Kinross Gold (TSX: K) lifted its position from 9.9% to 14.9%, and Altius Minerals (TSE: ALS) has participated in every raise. Christo Stemmet also makes the case that this is a multiple-discovery story rather than a one-project company, or as he puts it, 'There's just so much gold in the system.'"00:00 Welcome Back to Rapallo Sun Valley Minerals00:30 New Shareholders and TSX Listing01:20 Uruguay Gold Exploration Project Overview02:45 Drilling in Uruguay04:05 TSX Listing Timeline, Drilling & Financing05:30 Cash Runway and Goals07:30 What's the Size of the Prize? Magna Mining | R2 Discovery: Copper, Nickel & PGMs | Cash Flow Positive at McCreedy West

Jason Jessup, CEO of Magna Mining (TSX: NICU), explains what a new strategic investment from Alpayana, the private Peruvian miner with five producing mines in Peru and one in Mexico, means for the company's Sudbury growth plans. He covers McCreedy West's turnaround and positive cash flow, the upcoming Levack PEA and Crean Hill pre-feasibility study, and why he expects Magna Mining to be a significant copper equivalent producer by 2029, with nickel, platinum, palladium, gold and silver as by-products.Jason also discusses the high-grade R2 discovery at Levack, where drilling has intersected massive chalcopyrite veins running 20 to 30% copper, with nickel and platinum group metals in the mix. He also talks about hiring 50 miners this fall, his plans to grow through further Sudbury acquisitions from Vale and Glencore, and why he thinks some deals could be bigger than the KGHM acquisition. How Mackay Gold & Silver is Unlocking the Comstock Lode | Darwin Green CEO

Mackay Gold & Silver (CVE: MACK) CEO Darwin Green on reviving Nevada's legendary Comstock Lode, 35 minutes from Reno. Interviewed by Simon Catt. Discovered in 1859, the Comstock helped build San Francisco and produced over 8 million ounces of gold and roughly 200 million ounces of silver, at historical grades of around 35 g/t gold and 725 g/t silver. The last of the big underground mines shut down in the 1920s, leaving the district largely frozen in time with little modern, systematic exploration. Mackay is now consolidating the fragmented claims, including the Comstock Inc. acquisition, which added roughly 1 million ounces of SK-1300 resources (about 600,000 measured and indicated plus 300,000-400,000 inferred) and a permitted heap leach facility. The company is drilling a 20,000m program with two rigs, starting on the Occidental vein, with first results still to come. Copper Mine in 2 Years & a Super Giant Copper Target | Is Fitzroy Minerals About to Re-Rate?

Fitzroy Minerals CEO Merlin Marr-Johnson joins Simon Catt to explain how the company plans to turn Chilean copper exploration into cash flow. At Buen Retiro, a high-grade oxide copper project near Copiapó, the CEO says a low-capex SX-EW heap leach operation could potentially cost $120-150 million to build and produce 20,000-30,000 tonnes of copper a year at all-in costs below $2/lb, with a possible production decision in mid-2027 and production targeted for 2028. Partner Pucobre has signed a letter of intent to buy back 30% by repaying 90% of spend, which effectively means Fitzroy is exploring at 10 cents on the dollar, and a cheque of about $20 million is expected mid-2027. The upside is Caballos, a copper-molybdenum-gold porphyry target north of Santiago between Los Pelambres and Los Bronces, where geophysics (MT and deep IP) shows a conductive and chargeable anomaly about 5km across, and a 5,500m drill programme starts next month. Molybdenum grades of around 600ppm are about double the best in Chile, and major miners are already circling. The interview also covers the catalyst run (metallurgy, resource, PEA, PFS, permitting and a final investment decision), the $22 million cash position, offtake and debt interest, Chile's licensing changes freeing up ground, and the CEO's comparison to small-capex developers that re-rated as they de-risked. 00:00 Introduction - Two years on: Fitzroy's Chile copper update 01:49 Why Chile is under-explored and the licensing change 04:00 Buen Retiro: potential 20-30kt a year and quick payback 05:35 Pucobre buyback and the path to a 2027 mine decision 08:06 Caballos: a 5km super giant porphyry target 11:29 Moly grades and the 5,500m drill programme 13:18 Funding, the 90% clawback and offtake and debt interest 17:00 The re-rate: catalysts and what peers did 📺Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@CattCalls# 🎧Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/catt-calls-no-fear-finance/id1896925377 💬X https://x.com/CattCalls 💻Website https://www.cattcalls.com https://fitzroyminerals.com #copperstocks #coppermining #fitzroyminerals #copper #chilecopper #copperexploration #juniormining

Is Contango Silver & Gold Trading at Less Than Half Price? | Shawn Khunkhun

Contango Silver & Gold's (NYSEAMERICAN: CTGO) President, Sean Khunkhun, joins Simon Catt to explain why he thinks the company is one of the most misunderstood names in the mining space. Sean says Contango is trading at around 0.2x NAV against peers at 0.7x, while generating strong free cash flow from its 30% share of the Manh Choh mine and funding its projects without issuing new equity. They cover the plan to restart the high-grade Lucky Shot mine, the silver-rich Dolly Varden assets and the Johnson Tract gold project, and how shipping ore directly to Kinross's Fort Knox avoids building a mill. Sean also talks about the insider buying at Contango, including his own purchase of about C$600,000 in March 2026, before moving on to Strikepoint (TSXV: SKP), the Gladiator Metals (TSXV: GLAD) copper project and his view on where the gold cycle goes from here, with gold in a $4,250 to $4,550 range. 0:00 Introduction and Contango's Manh Choh cash flow02:00 Lucky Shot: bringing a high-grade mine back03:20 Johnson Tract and Kitsault Valley: where the value is05:12 Permitting and the direct-shipping model08:12 Funding growth: 0.2x NAV and no dilution09:33 Are insiders buying?11:05 Strikepoint (SKP) and Gladiator Metals (GLAD) copper project15:49 The Gold Cycle: gold's $4,250 to $4,550 range 📺Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@CattCalls#🎧Apple Podcastshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/catt-calls-no-fear-finance/id1896925377💬Xhttps://x.com/CattCalls💻Websitehttps://www.cattcalls.comhttps://contangoore.com/ ⚠️ Disclaimer: The information contained in this video is for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell securities. Why Mining Stocks Are Set for a Massive Catch-Up Rally | Tribeca - Ben Cleary

Simon Catt sits down with Ben Cleary of the Tribeca Global Natural Resource Fund at the Arlington Rapallo mining conference in Rapallo, Italy, to ask where we really are in the commodity cycle. Ben argues that G20 rearmament will be a bigger driver of commodity demand than China's urbanisation boom, and explains why about a quarter of Tribeca's portfolio sits in critical minerals like tungsten, antimony and rare earths. He also walks through the Hycroft (NASDAQ: HYMC) investment as a case study in getting in early, and why Strikepoint (TSXV: SKP) and neglected copper assets could offer similar opportunities. His big call is that we're still early for mining equities, which he believes have far more upside than commodities themselves, just as in 2005 when metal prices stalled but mining stocks rose 300%. 00:00 Intro & the market in 2026 so far 02:29 Rearmament: bigger metals driver than China's boom 04:11 Critical minerals: tungsten, rare earths & the West 06:03 Hycroft: fixing the debt & timing the entry 10:05 Strike Point: the next Hycroft? 11:43 Copper: why the majors buy rather than build 14:19 Still early: the upside is in equities 📺Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@CattCalls# 🎧Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/catt-calls-no-fear-finance/id1896925377 💬X https://x.com/CattCalls 💻Website (Newsletter Sign-Up) https://www.cattcalls.com ⚠️ Disclaimer: The information contained in this video is for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell securities.
