Ari Chambers on Audacity, Ambition & Changing the Game in Women’s Sports

In Episode Seven of May She Reign, Farida sits down with sports broadcaster Arielle Chambers for a conversation about audacity, ambition, representation, and building a career on your own terms. Ari talks about what it took to bet on herself early on, make New York work when she had very little, and keep moving toward a career that did not come with a clear roadmap. They get into the power of saying what you want out loud, writing it down, and then doing the work to make it real. The conversation also looks at the evolution of women’s sports and how the fight has shifted from proving women belong to protecting the access, coverage, and visibility that have finally started to grow. They talk about representation, confidence, opportunity, and why being seen can change what someone else believes is possible for themselves. At the center of it all is Ari’s belief in having the audacity to name the life you want and trust yourself enough to go after it. May She Reign is hosted by Farida Raafat, founder of DALYA NYC. Dahlia reflects on the decisions she has made, the paths she did not take, and why she does not believe in spending too much time looking backward. Monica McNutt on Ambition, Redirection, Confidence & Having Enough

In Episode Four of May She Reign, Farida sits down with basketball analyst Monica McNutt for a conversation about ambition, confidence, redirection, community, competition, and what it means to build a life that feels full. Monica talks about the lessons that shaped her long before television, from learning what it really means to put in the work to understanding that none of us has to be just one thing. They talk about the moments that redirect us, the careers and lives we build along the way, and the idea of “having it all.” Monica offers a different way to think about it: maybe the goal is not to have everything, but to have enough of what matters. The conversation also gets into supporting yourself while supporting others, competing without losing your sense of community, defining fulfillment for yourself, and what it has been like to have a front row seat to such an unforgettable moment for the New York Knicks. A conversation about doing the work, trusting yourself, making room for others, and building a life that feels full on your own terms. May She Reign is hosted by Farida Raafat, founder of DALYA NYC.
