Ana Kasparian is in her “independent” conservative era, and I’m shocked Jen and Pumps let her gaslight her way out of that wet bag. Literally letting her open with a rationalization of a failed apology for a bad take. That’s a a real telling start. Calling her own lines of thought “critical thinking” and our rejection of her libertarian transformation “ego” does not make her position correct, it just makes her an even bigger jerk. Kasparian hasn’t been trustworthy in many years, she’s neither a progressive nor leftist in any theoretical or practical way, and platforming her is why a lot of us think y’all are still centrists. Sorry. Love you. But this lady spoke against Olivia Munn and in favor of Brett Ratner but she’s on here acting like she has to recall that name and story, when it’s one of her bigger controversial statement. Ana is on here defending Tucker. I mean—hello?
There are a lot of actual lefties who would love to talk to you about the work they’re doing on the ground, what the literature and history tell us. Look to Rev Left Radio, for example. We don’t need a valley girl gated community bottom tier state school talking head to tell us why our policies on police, who kill us in our homes and in malls and on public streets with impunity, don’t work for the killer cops’ schedules. Or why avoiding working with the likes of Tucker won’t get us anywhere (an idea disciplined leftist would never even entertain let alone advocate for).
