Go to San Francisco and Seattle and interview people on the street about their views on progressive policies. Look at what drug overdoses have done to people, not treatment. Interview ‘We Heart Seattle’, a non-profit trying to help the homeless AND drug addiction, and ask about progressive policies. The West Coast will lose in a Federal election if a progressive candidate is in the mix. We've been living by the policies that you all praise for 15 years, and the cities are in debt, businesses are fleeing, and residents are leaving because we, the native generations, can't afford our states. Taxing the millionaires drives businesses away and creates voids that become crime- and drug-infested areas. Why won't progressives save lives in drug addiction areas, but throw them into drug-infested housing, where most would rather live on the streets? People experiencing homelessness, people without housing, demand fully furnished houses with taxpayer money. Public housing is a mix of the mentally ill, drug addicted, and women coming out of DV relationships who don't feel safe. No drug addiction counselors. It is the free-wheeling wild west where taxpayers keep paying more and more for a program that kills people. BE HONEST ABOUT PROGRESSIVE POLICIES, cause they don't work and drive a state and local taxes through the roof on absolutely stupid policies that don't work and have shown little progress for the billions going into them. The cities are worse off because of these policies.
