    Today, on Karl and Crew, we wrapped up our weekly theme of “What are you looking for?” with Morgan Krueger, who discussed the importance of keeping God the focal point and giving Him glory always, not taking it for ourselves. Morgan is a wife, mother, speaker, and author who found her voice connecting with women seeking biblical freedom from the brokenness of shame. Morgan has also written a book called “Made to Magnify: Choosing to Live for Jesus When Everything Tells You to Live for Yourself.” Then we had Dr. Elizabeth Smith join us to discuss what we should be doing in our free time and how to intentionally fill it, as well as our kids' free time. She also spoke about available classes through Moody Online. Dr. Smith is the Associate Dean of Academics for Moody Online and the Program Head of Children and Family Ministry. She is also a Professor for Moody Online and on the Chicago campus. York is the President, CEO, and National Evangelist of the Coalition for Christian Outreach. He is a gifted speaker, revivalist, and author of several books, including Do Something Beautiful. Dr. Adam Rasmussen joined us to explain why many lack biblical alignment between what they believe and how they live, and how discipleship can help close that gap. Dr. Rasmussen is a fellow at the Cultural Research Center and Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Arizona Christian University. With over three decades in Christian education, he has taught on biblical literacy, apologetics, and worldview formation, helping connect faith, reason, and culture. Later, Pastor Corey Brooks joined us to share how Project H.O.O.D. is bringing hope and opportunity to Chicago’s southside communities through mentorship, discipleship, education, and the new Leadership and Economic Opportunity Center. Corey is the Founder and Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Church of Chicago and the Founder and CEO of Project H.O.O.D. Communities Development Corporation. We then had Dr. Sandra Dalton-Smith join us to discuss the excuse “I can’t change because I feel too tired” and explain how true rest goes beyond sleep, and how different types of exhaustion can keep us from making real change. Dr. Dalton-Smith is a board-certified internal medicine physician, international speaker, and CEO of Restorasis, a workplace well-being consulting agency.
