Debra Keenahan - (Artist and Mother with Dwarfism) | #75
"Do I regret being me? No
Do I wish and want things to be different in society? Yes!" - D.K
Dylan Alcott thought growing up in the 90's with disability was tough he can't even IMAGINE what the 60's was like! Debra Keenahan was the only child of her family born with achondroplasia, the most common cause of dwarfism, and in this episode we talk about her decision to become a mother and the challenges the medical community presented on her path to parenthood while giving birth to a daughter with the same diagnosis as her.
Plus Angus gets VERY uncomfortable when bringing his own question out of 'The Bowl' at the end of the episode!

Customer Reviews
Awesome podcast!
Glad that people out there are showing attention to people of the disability community worldwide. As a person around the globe (in the USA) with a disability. It means a lot to show attention world wide for those with disabilities and how their lives are affected.
This person is a dick
Why would you want to support someone that would go around and harass people on social media for their likes and interests. Get a better hobby.
Nope.
Whatever good this show does, is destroyed. Just want everyone to know who reads this that Angus is a fraud.
See, ol Angus rails on about equality for persons (like me) with disabilities but, in his off time he bullies people online for the passions that have gotten them through hard times.
You all wouldn’t see that because rather than own it, Angus deleted the tweet and subsequently got called out for his bullying.
Just thought you should know before you support this show.
