    Mass Confusion in the Relationship Between Men + Women

    Season 2, Episode 22: At this point, it’s squarely up to us. Nobody is coming to save us. — I am incredibly frustrated (and also a bit mind blown) that people still aren’t getting it that the answer is not to have women and men go back in time to where men are the providers and women are the child bearers. I have never said that this dynamic cannot be part of the new paradigm, but the interplay between men + women is SO much more expansive and integrated than this. In other words, our third way (aka the new paradigm) can absolutely include this for those for whom is it TRUE, but will never work as an enforced set of ‘roles’ upon men and women. People also have to get really honest with themselves as to where some dark misogynistic views are lurking behind the scenes (or in others, proudly at the forefront). This is clearly running within the systems of both men and women, still. I won’t ever ignore the truth of misandry either (and never have). But in this conversation I speak to a view that is mostly on the ‘right’ and even in the ‘truth’ communities (which has gotten so filled with BS that I have no time for most of it anymore). I promise you that neither the right nor the left have the answers on the way forward, nor do they understand integration, inner union, or evolution in the slightest.     Is "Hurt People Hurt People" Really True?

    ‘Hurt people hurt people’ is often true, but not always... Sometimes, hurt people don’t hurt other people. And sometimes, people who haven’t been hurt hurt other people. Why does it matter? It actually matters significantly with how we show up in human relationships and how we approach and respond to harmful, abusive behavior - both in ourselves and in others. I believe understanding the nuance around this and transcending black and white thinking will be key as we co-create and step into the new paradigm of relationships. There are some things I’ve learned along the way in 15 years of assisting people therapeutically and also my personal life, and some of those things blew the lid off of some assumptions I was making about humanity and what true love and care is, what true ‘helping’ is. I want to share these things with you.     Inner Union, Alchemy, and Healing the Relationship Between Men + Women

    In this episode, I speak on the concept of ‘separate, purify, and unite’ in alchemy and how this applies to our inner union process, the process of outer union (especially in romantic relationships), and more importantly, how this applies to the bigger interplay between healing the relationship between men + women. On a basic level, we need to keep the polarities separate in order to purify them deeply, and then use the purified versions for union. Think about this in relation to masculine and feminine, and why we need to transmute the wounded versions of each into their highest expression (divine). I also apply this in a very practical way to what I call ‘the dance of union + separation’ which deeply protects us against codependency, providing the ideal template for the alchemical process of relationships as evolutionary portals.
