Moments where you don’t know if things will ever go back to normal… or if you’ll even get the chance. Today's quote summarizes this into a statement for reflection: “Sometimes the greatest transformation begins when life gives you a second chance you never expected.” -Mark QuinnNot long ago, I faced something like that. An infection I did not know I even had, that became serious; serious enough in 24 hours to make me realize just how fragile life can be. I came home from work and woke up in the ICU 18 days later after winning a fight for my life. And in that moment, something shifted. I began to see life differently. Not as something to manage… but as something I’ve been given again. Today, I want to talk about what it means to live with what I am calling a “Mark 2.0” mindset… and how a second chance can change everything—if you’re willing to receive it.
