Meredith Lynch labels herself as a comedian but she’s not funny. She’s not funny at all. She’s ill informed, judgmental and childish. We’ve officially entered the era of anyone believing they can start a podcast even when they have no experience and don’t know how to talk to people without being condescending & hateful.

Meredith is a professional grifter and rebrander. I’ve genuinely lost count, but we’re what - venture eight? nine? in the past year alone? At some point it stops looking ambitious and starts looking like a revolving door of half-baked ideas. There were the short-lived podcasts (yes, Oddly Stupid or whatever that was), the paid “classes” where she positioned herself as a social media expert while barely cracking triple-digit engagement, and now - surprise! - another yt female led podcast rollout. It’s giving “new project, same results.” The part that really doesn’t land, though, is how quickly personal moments get folded into promotion. Bringing up something as serious as her mother’s passing and then pivoting straight into plugging a project feels… calculated at best. And the comedian label? I mean, technically anyone can claim it, but usually there’s a punchline involved. At the end of the day, it’s not even the number of attempts - it’s the pattern. Nothing sticks, everything gets repackaged, and the tone throughout somehow manages to be both defensive and condescending. Not exactly a winning combo.
