I really enjoy your podcast and how accessible your topics are. They speak directly to me-a late blooming age grouper.
In my last race, IM 70.3 Victoria BC, I had the “biked great, ran not-so-great” experience. My coach explained it to me, but it didn’t resonate until Chris said “if you had a great ride and a bad run, then you had a bad ride”. In this very hilly 3+ hour ride, I averaged 15 watts too high. 🤦♀️
And, today I listened to Chris talk about his recent health issues and how he overcame them to have a wonderful experience in Scotland. (Congratulations!)
After Victoria, I’ve been dealing with minor health issues and at times convinced myself that I’ve already lost all the fitness I gained. But, I know that’s not true.
I'm so grateful for Chris talking, not only about the physical side, but about the mental side of working through health issues. It helps keep my own thoughts in check.
I’m a relatively new listener from Colorado and so happy I found your podcast. Keep up the great work, both of you!
