Red Light Exposé

Red Light Exposé is an international grassroots survivor-led circle seeking to combat “sex work” ideology. We aim to raise awareness of the harms of commercializing sex, and the industries (prostitution, porn, stripping, BDSM/kink) that exploit socioeconomically marginalized people, particularly women and girls. We support the adoption of Equality Model legislation worldwide while calling for an improvement in social security. Through honest, in-depth conversations we aim to elevate voices that are often ignored and silenced, moving us toward healthier and safer societies for all people.

How Clergy Abuse Survivors Created A Movement Against Sexual Violence with Tim Lennon

Andrea Heinz speaks with Tim Lennon, a clergy abuse survivor, author of Stand Up Speak Up, and a longtime leader within SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests). Together, they explore how patterns of institutional cover-up, denial, and protection of perpetrators within the Church echo the experiences of children and adults harmed in the commercial sexual exploitation industry, and how survivors across different forms of violence can organize, find solidarity, and push for change.  Links Tim Lennon’s website: standupspeakup.org  Tim Lennon’s book “Stand Up, Speak Up: How Survivors Created A Movement To End Sexual Violence”: https://standupspeakup.org/stand-up-speak-up-the-book/  Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests: snapnetwork.org Resources for survivors: snapnetwork.org/resources  Bishop Accountability: bishopaccountability.org  Follow us: Facebook: @RedLightExposé Instagram: @RLE.podcast TikTok: @redlightexpose Twitter: @RedLightExpose YouTube: @RedLightExpose Disclaimer: All the information provided through Red Light Exposé is published in good faith and solely for general information and educational purposes. How the Pelicot Case Connects To Sexual Exploitation

Elly Arrow speaks with Silvia, an anti-sexual exploitation activist from Germany, about the Pelicot case and how Dominique Pelicot and his co-perpetrators' behaviour is mirrored in the actions of pimps and johns and directly inspired by trends in online pornography and BDSM culture. They also go into the histories and take a critical look at the culture of France and Germany, respectively, to see how this connects to the Pelicot case and beyond.
