    59. The NEDA ChatBot Scandal (Fired Employees, Weight-loss Recommendations, and "Faulty" AI)

I know ChatGPT is blowing up recently, but is AI really equipped to handle eating disorders? Apparently, NEDA thinks so. Recently, NEDA (National Eating Disorder Association) fired their entire hotline team in exchange for an AI chatbot named Tessa. And well... Tessa alone might be proving that AI is not a smart choice when navigating mental disorders. In this episode we are going to talk about just how harmful bad advice in the eating disorder space can be as well as cover this spicy NEDA controversy.

    58. Seed Oils - The Unpopular Truth

Social media has been blowing up lately on the very heated debate of the "healthiness" of seed oils. You might have come across a video of someone in a grocery store aisle holding some product in their hand while saying that the seed oils in this product are inflammatory and the cause of all your major health concerns. But how true are those statements really? Today we're taking a look into the great seed oil debate to settle things once and for all. We'll go over:

What even is a seed oil and why are people concerned about them?
Why people think that seed oils are unhealthy
The arguments on the "pro" and "against" sides of seed oils
The research about seed oils and what it supports and refutes
How to take care of your health when it comes to seed oils
The bigger picture of stress in relation to seed oils/nutrition trends
How to think about this if you struggle with disordered eating

    57. We Have to Talk About What Happened On This Trip…

After my travels I had questions from you guys like, "What was it like traveling without restrictions?", "How did you feel before, during, and after the trip around body image?", "Did you exercise at all while you were there?". So, I thought it was only fitting to take the questions to the podcast and walk you through, not only, what it was like on the trip but also how it compared to a trip I took years ago during the thick of my eating disorder. Also for those of you that are interested I do a mini recap of the trip at the end with my favorite places, eats, and more.Hope you enjoy xx

    55. In Recovery vs. Fully Recovered

    55. In Recovery vs. Fully Recovered

When it comes to recovery, there's a few different ideas out there on what recovery really looks like. There is one train of thought that looks at recovery in a way that is very similar to sobriety, as in it is something that is an ongoing journey indefinitely. I personally tend to lean towards the other side, which looks at recovery a little bit more like a destination that can be reached. In this episode I talk about the winding road of recovery and how it can look different at each stage. If you've ever been curious to figure out where you're at in your own recovery, this might be a helpful listen.
