    19. Model Eugena Washington on Loving Our Bodies, Healing From Dad Trauma + More

Joining Ty this week for a fruitful healing discussion is model, actress, writer, and beauty enthusiast Eugena Washington. Eugena, like many of us, is trying to cope with the scam that is adulthood all while breaking generational curses. Her mission is to show women how to love themselves intimately and unconditionally by sharing her own personal journey of love and acceptance.

We collaborated with Mae Jones Magazine to feature Eugena as she is also the July editorial model for Mae Jones. It’s a newly launched fashion magazine that is redefining the look of luxury and dedicated to Black representation. Eugena and Ty talked for over an hour about their dads and how they love them, what success looks like, and the how’s and why’s of loving your body.

Laneisha B ,

Thank you!!!

Wow!!! #speechless

Grateful Emily ,

Good advice!

Ty is so real. I felt like I was sitting in her kitchen with her having an important conversation because she saw that I needed to hear what she had to say!

zan marshai ,

this is the one

i’ve been struggling on who i can really listen to help me with my growth and acceptance towards myself and my life. I needed someone specific and direct and Ty just does it for me. I am 19 turning 20 this year and I feel so complacent and stubborn. like i can’t listen to anything or anyone but i’ve been finding myself writing notes from each podcast and i’m learning that receiving help is okay. i’ve dealt with this issue all my life but that’s what we’re here for, to help each other out. i’m only on episode four but i’m literally about to binge each of these episodes and enjoy my night. Thank you so so much for these, you’re helping me find myself and my life and for that i’m so thankful :)
