Acceptance, Encouragement, & Education
I’m grateful for this podcast because it has helped me to work through so many aspects of my diagnosis. It has helped me accept it, because I relate so deeply to the experiences shared on the show - particularly Kristin’s (from the relationship episode with Kristin & Casey.) It has helped me by educating me, and then by giving me some hope and encouragement. I think it’s so important to find and connect with people having similar experiences - especially when so many of us wait so long for a diagnosis and the ability to FIND our people. Understanding and visualizing what is a normal experience/life for someone with axSpa/AS helps me be less hard on myself and even tune in better to when I need to give my body what it needs and stop pushing it.
I’m hooked
I’ve listened to almost every episode, the guests and topics are wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. The host is not. I wish she talked less about herself.
This organization, that so much good
I can say I personally love the people behind this organization, and Jill is doing a great job posting. I’m bringing onto amazing guests if you’re someone who responded once the facts and more interesting information to deal with the cards that you have been dealt, and this is a great place to find answers to the questions you’ve been asking!
