The Origins & Dangers of Hormonal Birth Control

Hormonal birth control is a hot button topic these days with traditional media sources demonizing the growing community of women embracing natural forms of birth control- fertility awareness methods like cycle charting. This video lesson uncovers the unsavory beginnings of hormonal birth control, the medical gaslighting women have been experiencing for decades, and the extreme lack of informed consent when it comes to disclosing the risks and side effects of hormonal contraceptives to women. My goal is to shed positive light on the natural options women have for accurately and confidently monitoring their fertility whether the goal is to prevent or achieve pregnancy. With an arguably higher efficacy rate than the Pill, cycle charting is becoming a viable and more popular option for women desiring to be rid of nasty side effects like weight gain, nutrient deficiencies, PMS, acne, mood disorders like anxiety and depression, low libido, headaches, and much worse. Episode 10: Near-Death Experience with Hormonal Birth Control Caitlin is a certified hormone health coach, fertility awareness educator, and Pilates instructor. She created the Spring to Life Method in 2020 to guide women to embrace their natural cycles and live cyclically.
