Absolutely love this podcast
So many podcast consists of a couple people sharing inside jokes, laughing too long and loud over slightly funny banter and turn me off within an hour, never to listen again.
This podcast is different, solo voice sharing thought provoking insight, and deep musical knowledge.
I just started to learn the piano, and the breakdown he provides on song craft and making music is fantastic.
It can get deep, and sometimes I’m lost, but I can follow him as he breaks things down. Great find, great podcaster.

This is such a wonderful podcast. The research and attention to detail is thorough. The explanations are clear and engaging. The host is passionate and articulate. If you love music, you’re gonna love this podcast.
Great podcast to learn about how songs are made
Kirk has a great command of music theory and breaks apart songs and their various elements to teach the listeners how the music works. It’s a fascinating podcast.
