The Dutchess
 
About The Dutchess: The Dutchess is an all-day place and a fun collaboration amongst friends and family. Kelsey Brito runs the bakery, Saw Naing is the chef, and Zoe Nathan wraps her arms around the whole restaurant. It’s a place to come in the morning for a cappuccino and a croissant, take home a loaf of bread, meet friends for sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads at lunch, and come back for great drinks and Burmese-Californian flavors at night. The majority of ingredients come from within 50 miles, including Zoe and Josh Loeb’s 50/50 Farms and other farms focused on soil health. It’s a love letter to Ojai from a team that cares deeply about what they do and about the community itself.

Ojai Wine Festival
 
About the Ojai Wine Festival: From its humble beginning in 1987, the Ojai Wine Festival has grown into a leading regional event attracting close to 4,000 people from throughout the central coast and southern California. The festival has played a role in introducing people to the bounty of Ojai, which has been named by Sunset Magazine as one of the top five “Food and Wine Havens in the West.” The Ojai Wine Festival has made its home at the beautiful Lake Casitas Recreation Area event site and falls on the third Saturday in June. With its ideal venue and extraordinary fan base, the Ojai Wine Festival has become a favorite affair for attending wineries and breweries.
