Rick White – Interview and his story “Mister”

This episode of the podcast features an interview with Rick White who shared his story in front of a sold out crowd live at The Wilma on December 10, 2019. It was the last in-person Tell Us Something event before COVID struck. The theme was "Tipping Point".

When I talked with Rick, we talked about the story that he told at The Wilma, about podcasting, about his writing, his artist residency and about storytelling.

Rick’s story, which I play after the interview, is called “Mister”.

Kudos to Tell Us Something

I am so grateful to have come across the tell us something podcast a few months ago. There have been many evenings at home alone during quarantine, where the tell us something podcast has cut right through the loneliness and given me a valuable sense of connection. The conversations and stories are delivered with such clear authenticity, it feels like as much of an adventure for me as a listener, as the experiences are for the story tellers. Keep up the good work Tell Us Something. Thank you!

Real Stories with Real People

These stories are raw, real, and unscripted. I love this program! Each story is only 10 minutes long, so I can listen to a performance on short commutes or long ones.

I'll tell you something, too!

I love the "Tell Us Something" podcast. I'm from Missoula, MT, and I've been lucky enough to see "Tell Us Something" performed live at various locations! Marc Moss has created something really special that has expanded far beyond Missoula. I love that local people share all kinds of stories to a wide range audience. If you're in town, the "Tell Us Something" live performances provide a fun opportunity for all ages..go see one! 😊
